It appears that Superman isn't the only one to take on a ageing Bruce Wayne. Star Wars' Galactic Empire is the latest to take a pop at the Dark Knight...but it is all for charity!
The Biker Scout Helmet Project is an official Lucasfilm fundraiser where propmakers and cosplay enthusiasts from all over the world are invited to design their own trooper helmets for auction. Made by Order 66 Creatures and Effects, organisers said that Julian Checkley's Wayne Industries (Applied Sciences Division) Advanced Pursuit Helmet "blew us away". Complete with Vader muzzle, bat ears and the wear and tear you would expect from being Dark Lord of the galaxy/Gotham's vigilante.
Checkley's helmet and 39 other pieces will be on display at the Star Wars Celebration in London from July 15-17, where all proceeds go towards Star Wars: Force for Change. Other entries include an impressive helmet modelled on Howl's Moving Castle, whilst the rest remain a closely guarded secret.
