It's Fappening Again - WWE Star Paige Has Been Hacked

Sounds like a body slam might be in order, with the number of stars that are coming forward and confirming that they've had their electronic devices hacked.

In the wake of news of a sex tape between her and Xavier Woods, Paige – one of the hottest female wrestlers in the WWE – has acknowledged that she has been the latest victim of what has been dubbed Fappening 2.0. Thus far, Emma Watson and Amanda Seyfried, among others, have been victims of this round of nude photo leaks. In Watson's case, there were reportedly no nude photos taken, though her representative acknowledged the photos were from a recent clothes fitting. Hacker News, however, reported that hackers have also posted pictures and video they claim are of Watson bathing and masturbating, though the woman's face is unclear.

The relationship, professional or otherwise, between Paige and Xavier Woods seems to date back a few years; not only has Paige appeared on Woods' YouTube gaming show Up Up Down Down, a video of the two playing Twister was filmed for the WWE's online site. At one point in the video, Paige kneels in front of Woods and says, "This is familiar," though the comment was overlooked at the time.

There is no firm timeline for the video, though it's suspected that it was shot by Brad Maddox, who was fired from WWE in November 2015. It's believed that the video would have to have been shot before that point. Woods married his wife, Jess Watson, in October 2015, and because the NXT championship belt was seen in another leaked image, it's believed that the video might date from between June 2013 and April 2014.

Paige does not appear to be the only WWE Diva, either former or current, caught in this latest Fappening, though; former wrestling star Kaitlyn has had either compromising photos or videos leaked. Similarly, it appears as though wrestler Maria, who is married to wrestler Mike Barrett, has also had nude photos of herself, apparently depicting her in a variety of positions, leaked onto the internet.

Paige has made a name for herself as part of the WWE organization; she was the youngest ever winner of the WWE's Diva Championship belt when she won it in April 2014 after having made her main roster debut. She is also the daughter of former pro wrestler Saraya Knight, who famously continued to wrestle while seven months pregnant with her daughter.

Knight appeared to throw all her support behind her daughter in this Fappening matter, as one might expect that any mother would.

“People get hacked," she tweeted. "Unfortunately my daughter had pics and video shared from years ago, my husband and I support her 100 per cent no fault of her own.”

The Sun has said that it's believed “Internet trolls are thought to have guessed passwords of stars’ social media and messaging services.” In a case similar to but apparently unrelated to the original Fappening, Edward Majerczyk pleaded guilty to "a felony violation of the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act, specifically, one count of unauthorized access to a protected computer to obtain information.”

In that case, it was discovered that Majerczyk had accessed some 300 accounts - 30 of which are believed to belong to celebrities - through means such as phishing; he had been sending emails that appeared to be from the security departments of various ISPs, and obtaining users' usernames and passwords. He spent nine months behind bars for his offense.

Knight also said that lawyers have been contacted in Paige's case, in order to bring the offender to justice and bring closure for her daughter in this matter.

It's clear that the hackers aren't through yet. As reported by The Hacker News, “According to a screenshot from an original 4chan thread, unknown hackers will be posting more intimate photos of female celebrities, including Kylie Jenner, Marisa Tomei, Jennifer Lawrence and several others, over the next few days, which indicates it's just the beginning of The Fappening 2.0.”

If that is the case, there are doubtless more photos and videos to follow, and legal action will not be far behind.
