Jon Snow Still Knows Nothing — But One Policeman Certainly Did!

There are many ways of getting out of a speeding fine — from flashing your fleshy bits to declaring a medical emergency, we have tried them all. However, revealing Game of Thrones spoilers is (apparently) a surefire way to get yourself out of a hefty ticket.

For over a year, fans of HBO's most popular show waited and waited to see whether Kit Harington's character Jon Snow made it out of the bloody Season Five finale alive. The showrunners, other cast members and even Harington himself all insisted that aye, the Lord Commander of the Night's Watch was dead. But we weren't buying it!

Unless you have been living under a rock for the past few weeks, you will know that while Jon did (technically) die, he was resurrected in this season's second episode "Home."

And during a recent interview on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Harington revealed to the host that there was indeed someone outside of the show who knew the true fate of Jon. When pulled over for speeding, Harington found himself in a situation that was stickier than his Season 5 demise. The officer left the 29-year-old with an ultimatum: Accompany him to the local police station, or reveal what happened to Jon Snow. The 998th Lord Commander of the Night's Watch broke the cardinal sin of Thrones and told the officer one hell of a spoiler. Harington admitted:

"So I looked at him and I went, 'I'm alive next season.'"

Not one to disappoint a GoT fan, Harington's response was noble, but the officer's poetic words couldn't be put better by George R.R. Martin's himself:

"On your way, Lord Commander. Keep the speed down this far south of the Wall."

Over here at Movie Pilot, we don't condone reckless driving at all, but you have to hand it to Harington — he sure knows how to woo 'em. But who knows? Perhaps he was rushing to Winterfell to save Rickon from the hands of Ramsay Bolton.
