Which team of superheroes comes out on top

The Justice League and the Avengers are the two most well known superhero teams of all time, but that does not stop the Marvel vs DC debate from creating countless debates posing the question, "Who would come out on top?" Regardless of the many movies, comics, and shows about these heroes, it is hard to decide which team is superior. Therefore to find out we will be comparing each superhero with their rival comic's counterpart, and then count up the points to decide who will win. Also we will not be considering the Justice League and Avengers crossover. Obviously the superhero team with the most wins will be the winning team.

Superman vs Thor

Man of Steel Vs God of Thunder

Let's start with the two most powerful members of each team, both coming from different worlds. It's easy to see the similarities between the two, with the ability to fly, super strength, and even the red cape. The Son of Krypton vs the god from Asgard is a fight for the ages that is sure to not disappoint. The argument for Thor's victories comes in the form of magic and godly powers being one of Superman's weaknesses, but it is important to remember that this weakness is not a great one for Superman. When looking at this debate, you have to recall the immortals with godly powers that Superman did beat, such as Darkseid, Orion, and Hercules, and more importantly Shazam, who is very similar to Thor himself. Superman's effortless defeat of Shazam in Injustice is indisputable proof of his capability to defeat Thor.

Winner: Superman

Captain America vs Batman

The First Avenger Vs The Dark Knight (yeah I used the Bale picture)

The Caped Crusader vs The Nomad would be one of the most intense battles on this list, with both these heroes being exceptional fighters loaded with some of the most advanced armor and battle experience, it is sure to not disappoint. Almost immediately, it can be seen that Captain America has the athletic advantage due to the super soldier serum, which will pose a great problem to Batman. With that being said, Batman has come out victorious against many foes with super human abilities, such as Bane and Solomon Grundy. The difference between Batman and Captain America however is Batman's versatile Martial Arts experience, intellect and advanced and expensive weapons. If Captain America had a rough time with Ironman, he will certainly have his hands more than full with an Ironman that has the potential to outdo him in hand to hand combat.

Winner: Batman

Cyborg vs Ironman

Cy Vs Stark

Iron Man vs Cyborg is one of the most interesting match ups, because of the lack of evidence supporting each side's argument. Cyborg, being made by alien technology makes him extremely difficult for Tony to hack without preparation time, and Cyborg's potential ability to hack into almost any database plays a huge advantage in his favour. However, this is not just any database. Jarvis, an AI created by Tony Stark himself, would pose a major problem for Cyborg, especially because Cyborg had trouble with Batman's less advanced database security. Iron Man has many suits and his hulkbuster or bleeding edge suit would pose a major threat to Cyborg, and would allow him to win by a long shot.

Winner: Iron Man

Captain Marvel vs Wonder Woman

Kree Vs Amazon

Wonder Woman vs Captain Marvel is more than just Kree vs Amazon. With Wonder Woman being a demi goddess with destructible armour, Captain Marvel may seem to have her hands tied, although this fight would be as close as they get. With Captain Marvel's photon blast, Wonder Woman could be seen as having a huge disadvantage, but Captain Marvel does have a weakness, her attacks get progressively weaker, and with Wonder Woman's warrior spirit, and the ability to easily survive the likes of nuclear explosions, she would come out on top after a long beating.

Winner: Wonder Woman

Green Lantern vs Hulk

Green Vs Green

The reason why these two would face off is not due to them both being green. Hulk and Green Lantern both have such a versatile set of skills that allows them to do almost anything they want, and thy both rely heavily on their will power to get the job done. That being said, Green Lantern has a major advantage in being able to immobilize Hulk for a long time, and can potentially win the fight by tiring him out. The only problem is Hulk does not get tired, and when Hulk takes control, there is no way Hal Jordan would be able to hold him down for long. At the end of the day, Hal Jordan's willpower is constantly put to the test, but Bruce Banner has consistently proven he has the willpower to control the Hulk, and when he doesn't, the Hulk has more than enough will power to destroy everything in front of him.

Winner: Hulk

Flash vs Spiderman

Speed Vs Spidey-Sense

The two new guys (at least in the movies) of the group, still trying to understand their powers and responsibilities as heroes would be an amazing match, and potentially a fan favourite. Spider-Man, being the face of Marvel, has super strength, speed, and his famous spidey-sense, along with his webs that could immobilize Flash. The problem is Flash can shift through physical matter, because of his speed, making Spider-Man's web useless, and Flash's amazing speed, which trumps Spider-Man's by a long shot, will pose a major threat to the spidey-senses. Although Spiderman would be able to sense Flash's attacks coming, he would not be able to react to it on time as Flash is just too fast, and Spiderman would not even be able to know where his attacks are coming from. Thus meaning that Speed beats Spidey-sense.

Winner: Flash

Conclusion

And the Winner is...

The winner would be the Justice League, it is important to remember that the the Justice League is a group of superheroes made to be over-powered and as similar to gods as possible, while the Avengers are made to be more human and relate-able. Although the Avengers could put up a good fight, it is hard to dispute that Superman himself would just wipe out the Avengers himself in his prime, and Batman and Wonder Woman could do a lot of damage alone as well. All in all, if the world ever needs a hero, it may be a safer bet to call on the Justice League.
