Karen Gillan Shows Off More Skin (And Her Stunt Double) On 'Jumanji' Set

If contending with the haters of the reboot/remake genre wasn't bad enough, actress Karen Gillan recently came under fire for her rather "revealing" outfit for the film.

"Outrage!" I hear you cry. "Why is she wearing such small clothing?" If it isn't whitewashing, then it is your wardrobe dogging the films of 2016, and the reboot of 1995's Jumanji is no different. If contending with the haters of the reboot/remake genre wasn't bad enough, actress Karen Gillan recently came under fire for her rather "revealing" outfit for the film.

Last month, the internet went into meltdown when the first set picture of the film (slated for a 2017 release) was revealed. Looking more like Lara Croft than wholesome family fun, Gillan took to Twitter to quell suspicions that she was just there to ramp up the film's sex factor. Somehow the words "Jumanji" and "sex factor" don't really mesh too well:

We have since found out that our A-list cast will be playing avatars of four kids who find themselves in detention. Like it or lump it, but if Gillan is an avatar, that is your pretty standard heroine look from video games of yesteryear. As a middle finger to her haters, Gillan recently shared some behind-the-scenes footage of her and her stunt doubles on set in Hawaii (tiny outfit included).

It looks like it is three (not two) heads that are better than one, as Gillan shared the image on her Instagram of the "Three Marthas," also revealing her character's name. Proving it isn't all piña colada and luaus, the Guardians of the Galaxy starlet had to take a lie down. It must be such hard work being a Hollywood actress and being fanned by your body double.

Oh Karen... we feel so sorry for you, care to trade places? Whatever you think of the upcoming film, it appears Gillan isn't afraid to tell you exactly what she thinks of your opinion on it!

Swapping the real-life board game era of Jumanji from the Robin Williams classic, the updated version sees children sucked into the cyber world of the game. Also starring Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Jack Black, and Kevin Hart, Jumanji is set to rumble into the jungle on July 28, 2017.
