Keeping Up With The Pregnancies

Are Kylie and Khloe really pregnant?

Keeping up with the Kardashians is a frustratingly addictive hobby for many of us mere mortals today; it's hard to open Snapchat without seeing a swatch of the latest Kylie lip kit, or open Instagram without a #tbt pic of Kim in her Paris Hilton days popping up. But lately, as I'm sure everybody is aware, there's a new rumour taking over the Kardashian blogs, one that people claim to not care about, yet there's always that slight intrigue to know the truth: are Khloe and Kylie really pregnant? No matter how many times Khloe wears an oversized jumper to hide from paps or Kylie posts a close up selfie to obviously hide that oversized baby bump the media keep claiming is there, the debate is always ended with how a 'close source' confirmed the happy news. I'm sure we all remember the time that the biggest scandal in the world was that Kanye had cheated on Kim and that they were destined for divorce...but the divorce papers never came through and within a month, the rumour was gone. And with no actual proof of either pregnancy, what are we supposed to believe?

The family (and their extended circle of friends-yes, Scott included) play up to their rumours by completely ignoring them, so without a confirmation or denial, the general public are left in the dark, and the only people who have a torch are the media. Consider, for instance, how all of the sisters have successfully evaded the subject in the press and how, most recently, Kim let slip the gender of her own baby during a recorded interview, proving that these media trained celebrity moguls can actually slip up from time to time. Yet there have been no mistakes, no 'we're gonna have to edit that bit out' moments, only a few strategically placed comments and pictures, each prized pap pic only being released when the heavily broadcasted TMZ article is prepared for the public.

While there are a lot of factors pointing towards the pregnancy rumours being fake, it is important to consider that it would be a completely logical move for both sisters to hide the truth from the general public. Kylie has publicly spoken about how she wakes up 'every morning with the worst anxiety' and that she is constantly anxious over a new scandal being reported concerning her, Khloe has done full interviews regarding the hateful comments she receives daily about her appearance and weight, dictating just how hurtful it is. So it is no wonder that, with Kylie at 99.7M followers on Instagram and Khloe at 70.2M, the girls would prefer to keep it hush for as long as humanly possible. Regardless of their social media presence or their rise to fame, disgusting comments and hurtful rumours should not be posted online, nevertheless sent to them. It's too ironic how the people who shamed Khloe for merely wearing a tracksuit are the same ones who are giving The Sun hits on their 'who is Tristan Thompson and what is his net worth' articles.

Amid rumours that the sisters will reveal whether the rumour holds truth or not in the KUWTK Christmas special, it is only expected to have doubts about the pregnancies. Baiting fans along with baggy jumpers and refusing to deny yet failing to confirm, it is hard to believe that this is all organic because it seems like something that famed momager Kris Jenner has cooked up in her pristine office while she drinks prosecco.

Don't get me wrong, I would love to see a new Kardashian-Jenner baby being wheeled around draped in Gucci and boasting the latest Yeezy collection, but until we get that full body pic from Kylie or the excited captions from Khloe and Tristan, I'm not placing any bets.
