Midnight in the Switchgrass stars Emile Hirsch as Detective Crawford, an investigator for the Florida Department of Criminal Investigation. Crawford is convinced that a serial killer is operating on the outskirts of Pensacola but he can’t prove it. The local cops aren’t interested because the victims are sex workers. Also, the killer’s M.O. is inconsistent, thus proving one man was behind each of the murders proves difficult.

Aditya GuptaPublished 3 years ago in GeeksAn interpretation of "Alice in Wonderland" by Lewis Carroll
“Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland”, by Lewis Carroll, has attracted a great deal of critical attention since it was first published in 1865, much of it centred on the hidden meanings and allusions that it might contain. There are, for example, many references to people who were known to the author’s original audience of the three daughters of Henry Liddell, the Dean of Christ Church, Oxford.
John WelfordPublished 3 years ago in GeeksReview: "Gunpowder Milkshake"
Gunpowder Milkshake is a brash, sugar rush that at times is incredibly hard to follow but that's okay as the viewer isn't missing much apart from some gore. On the merit of an action film, it is entertaining enough but with such a talented cast it is borderline criminal not giving any of them anything to sink their teeth into. The film obviously takes a lot of inspiration from the John Wick franchise but, while Wick takes itself much more seriously, Gunpowder Milkshake dives headfirst into the insanely over the top and deeply stylized action scenes. It embraces the crazy right out from the gate.

PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A POSSIBLE OUTCOME THAT IS BEING EXPLORED AND NOT A GUARANTEE On Wednesday's episode of THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS viewers were happy to see that Kyle Abbott was questioning Sally Spectra. He has no reason at this point to suspect Tara but his questions to the woman who wants his dad may lead somewhere. Cheryl E PrestonPublished 3 years ago in Geeks"The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" stage tour casting announced
As a child, I devoured the Chronicles of Narnia books by C.S. Lewis. Although the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe was definitely my favourite. The films were also a favourite childhood watch, specifically the two directed by Andrew Adamson and although I knew Sally Cookson had written a stage adaptation, I never got round to seeing it. That might be about to change though.

Steven LeitmanPublished 3 years ago in GeeksBook Review: "You Let Me In" by Camilla Bruce
If you know me then you also know that I absolutely adore folk horror with all of my heart and more. Not just the Faustian Pact we see in the play by Christopher Marlowe and Goethe’s iconic masterpiece. But also more modern books such as: “Bellman and Black” by Diane Setterfield, “A Cosmology of Monsters” by Shaun Hamill, the modern masterpiece “Tyll” by Daniel Kehlmann and there are many more. Folk horror, I am proud to say, is making a very special comeback amongst the film scene with the films of Ari Aster becoming ever more popular and ever more folkloric, and I can only hope that this spills over into literature and we get a flood of folk horror because I will have so much more to read. Just imagine me as an anime character with those big massive heart eyes and that is pretty much what I will look like. But now you’re going to probably ask: what is folk horror? Folk horror is simple. It takes folkloric archetypes such as fairies, magic beings, faustian pacts, etc. and works them into the real world, creating a disturbing mix between the real and unreal. This is exactly what “You Let Me In” by Camilla Bruce does as well. And it does it so well that I almost put the book back down it was that repulsive.
