13 Adorable Throwback Pictures of Nollywood's Older Actors.
How time flies! Life is really funny. When young people are young, they wish so dearly to get older because they crave independence and want to do 'adult things'. Older people long for youth because they miss the simplicity of that time as well as their youthful vibrance and energy. People want to get older but so many are afraid of actually “aging”, everybody wants to be young forever. But science hasn’t quite reached that level yet – and that is nothing to cry about.

When Randolf awoke, the house was silent and bright sunshine was peaking through the window. It took him a moment to clear his foggy mind and remember the events of the night before. How did he sleep so hard when he was so worried about Klara? Randolf scowled slightly, knowing Iskra must have put a spell on the room to keep out any sound that would awaken him. Randolf quickly stretched his aching muscles, pulled his hair back with some twine, then descended the stairs to the lower level. He frowned when he saw the beds empty and didn’t hear a sound in the house. Klara could not possibly be in good enough condition to be walking around so soon. Trying not to panic, he went outside then heard a commotion a few houses away and found a small gathering of wolves around one particular home. It was shimmering with fairy magic, meant to keep anyone at bay.

Randolf couldn’t help but smile a little when the two left the room. Faelan was the perfect wolf to help the princess heal, no one was kinder or more gentle. Klara whimpered in pain while Iskra lifted the bandages and Randolf flinched. Even after much healing, large chunks were missing from where Gerrick’s teeth had ripped through, leaving ugly divots and mangled flesh.

Her voice caught but she continued. “I can’t…I can’t shame their memory again.”

Faelan took a deep breath and slowly exhaled, trying to gather the nerve to knock on the door to Carina’s guest room. The princess had finally calmed down enough to allow him to help her, thanks to Klara. Though she was willing to trust him, she still refused to leave the spare room in his house, making it even more difficult for the young wolf not to think about her.

They walked past his house to a smaller building just behind it. Unlike the other buildings, this one was secured with a padlock. Klara wondered what exactly he had that was so valuable that he didn’t trust just anyone to browse his collection. Entering, Klara realized exactly why. The building was immaculately designed with larger windows for more natural lighting and a high ceiling to prevent large build up of moisture. Unlike other buildings in the village, this one was fitted with large wooden beams which doubled as supports for the walled bookshelves. Klara whistled in praise.

At times, you come across a book where you are wholly confused about what it is trying to be and how. You may be confused about the genre, the setting, the context, the characters - but whatever you are confused about seems to colour your reading experience of the rest of the book. Now, I'll never tell you not to read a book on here, even if I give it a bad review. I'll always say this: read the book for yourself. It's very important to make up your own mind, and maybe if there is something I don't fully get about the book or can't get into - you may be able to work it out and it won't colour your experience of the narrative. Unfortunately though, there were a few things that made me think about the legitimacy of this book by the context in which it placed itself.

Macbeth takes the politics of the Henriad and adds Supernatural themes to create a one-of-a-kind play that is entertaining the whole way through. While Shakespeare did not initially put in the witches at the beginning of the play, they created an iconic scene that has been referenced throughout centuries of pop culture. Witches, of course, have a negative connotation as well as ghosts previously seen in Hamlet.

Wes Anderson’s latest film, the aesthetically pleasing comedy The French Dispatch, is another star-studded affair to add to the auteur’s oeuvre. Split into three parts, the film is described by the director as a love letter to journalists – in this case, those of a fictional newspaper in a 20th-century French town (aptly called Ennui-sur-Blasé). Owen Wilson’s laid-back, easygoing character introduces viewers to the setting in a humorously matter-of-fact way, adding tidbits of insider information to help the audience settle into this new world – though it will feel familiar to Wes Anderson fans.
