Heath Ledger Life biography
Doomed to seek more extensive acting opportunities, the 16-year-old dropped out of high school a year earlier to travel to Sydney with the partner of his longtime best friend, Trevor DiCarlo. It was around this time that he became interested in becoming a theater actor, starring in a production of Peter Pan directed by the Guildford Schools. Ledger attended Maris Mount Elementary School in Gooseberry Hill and then to Guildford Grammar School, where he gained his early acting experience at the age of 10, starring in a school play as Peter Pan. At age 16, Ledger passed his first final exams and traveled across the country to Sydney to pursue an acting career with his longtime friend Trevor DiCarlo.
What is Queerbaiting?
Queerbaiting is a marketing technique for fiction and entertainment in which creators hint at, but then do not actually depict, same-sex romance or other LGBT representation. There have been several franchises that have been accused of queerbaiting its audience by writing a pairing with romantic or sexual undertones and either not following it through or randomly pairing said characters in a heterosexual romance.
Film Review: 'Under the Christmas Tree'
A self-proclaimed "Christmas tree whisperer," Charlie Freemont (Tattiawna Jones) has been given a daunting challenge this December. With an ice storm having ruined Maine's original state Christmas tree, it's up to Charlie to find a suitable replacement in time for the Christmas Eve tree lighting ceremony. Fortunately, her search leads her to a perfect tree in the town of Camden. The only problem: it's the backyard of Alma Beltran (Elise Bauman). A headstrong Christmas-loving woman on the verge of taking over the family retail business, Alma has no intentions of giving up her tree. After all, it's not only been a staple of her life, but it plays a key role in Camden's own Christmas celebrations.

A new year means many things: a new start, new plans, and Lifetime's annual batch of "Deadly Resolutions" films. Though we have been treated to quite a few good films, the one that had me counting down the days until airtime was Killer Stepmom, with the title being one obvious reason. The film centered on Brianna Williams, whose penchant for making up stories has been her undoing at school. As we have quickly seen, Brianna's acting out appears to be due to her parents' divorce, and regarding her parents, Daniel Williams and Annie O'Dowd, they decided that Brianna would be grounded while living in Daniel's home, which for Brianna, also meant the indignity of having to be around Daniel's new wife, Susanna.
Clyde E. DawkinsPublished 2 years ago in GeeksBook Review: "Aesthetics" by Michel Foucault
In my time, I have had to read Michel Foucault in order to complete various assignments. His work on literature, the prison system, the oppression and injustice of language and his philosophies on the way in which we live our day to day lives has opened eyes across the globe and, in a way as a reaction to his father's 'bullying' of him, has seemingly rejected the social-conservative position of which he grew up. His analysis of literature and language has to be my favourite aspects of his work because even though they are challenging to read, I must have read these parts a couple of times in order to understand in my best abilities, as to which direction he was heading.

Great news from Instagram about the new link sticker feature, which replaced the swipe up feature previously used in the Story feature. After initially limiting the link sticker feature (and swipe up) to verified accounts and those accounts that had 10,000 or more followers, just last month, Instagram opened the link feature up to all accounts.

Baker's Dozen: Comfort Shows in 2021
Before I get to work on my 2022 Baker's Dozen lists, I have one more for my 2021! Since my previous list went over my comfort movies in 2021, it only seems fair that I also give attention to my comfort shows of 2021.

I’m not quite sure what to make of the new Hulu teen comedy Sex Appeal. On the one hand, it’s good to see a sex positive movie with a good message about seeking safe, consensual, and pleasurable sex. On the other hand, the jokes and characters feel lifted from various other teen comedies and sitcoms. Director Talia Osteen has made both a sex positive teen comedy and a movie about as sexy the sex talk you might get from your cool aunt.

I don't know how you make a spy film boring, but Simon Kinberg accomplished it. I haven't been this bored since the last Mission Impossible movie.

Rock 'N' Roll, whose name comes to your mind? For me, the name is Elvis Presley. We share the same birth month. While my birthday is the 4th of January, Elvis's birthday was the 8th of January 1935. Our birthdays are thirteen years apart. Obviously, he was thirteen years older than me.
