'Legends Of Tomorrow' Villain Heat Wave Receives Statue Erected In His Honor
The Legends ventured back in time once again to prevent another aberration from being created. This time, the Legends came face to face with their previous leader, Rip Hunter.
In the latest episode of #LegendsOfTomorrow, the Legends ventured back in time once again to prevent another aberration from being created. This time, the Legends came face to face with their previous leader, Rip Hunter.
Rip Hunter Kills George Washington And Shoots Sara Lance — What's Next?
In this episode, Rip has been brainwashed by the Legion Of Doom and sent on a mission to retrieve a piece of the Spear of Destiny from the Legends. His plan to attain their piece of the Spear started off with assassinating George Washington.
Washington's assassination gained the attention of the Legends, which resulted in them venturing back to the American Revolution to ensure Washington leads the country to victory. When they arrived they were greeted by Rip Hunter, who swiftly put a bullet in Sara Lance's stomach.
After the confrontation with Rip took place, the Legends wound up on separate missions, and while most of the team had important jobs to do, Mick Rory was being held captive alongside George Washington.
The British soldiers accompanying Rip held Washington and Mick captive until Mick encouraged Washington to stand up for himself, which inspired him to jump into action. Soon the two were fighting their way out of a British troop's camp with just a few rifles that they picked up along the way. Eventually, Nate and Amaya arrived to assist, aiding Mick and Washington in a successful escape from the British troops.
George Washington Forever Grateful To Mick Rory For Saving The Day
Shortly after saving George Washington, history was restored and the #LegendsOfTomorrow were off again to their next destination. However, the Legends caused yet another unintentional aberration to be created, but not in the way you think. The newest aberration to be created isn't crucial or threatening, it's just a statue in honor of Mick Rory dedicated by George Washington.
Apparently Rory left quite the impression on George Washington, so much so that the great American president felt compelled to have a statue erected in his honor.
It was very thoughtful gesture on Washington's part, but had he'd known of Rory's past (or future) ventures as an arsonist — as well as his status as a known villain of the #DC universe — he might have reconsidered the statue. But hey, there's nothing the Legends can do now — history has been saved and it would probably cause more damage to attempt to change it again. This means that we've now got a statue in honor of DC villain, Mick Rory somewhere in the #Arrowverse.
