Leonard And Penny Prepare To Bow Out Of 'The Big Bang Theory'
"Season 10 had been impossible to imagine when the series began"
It's rumored that two main stars of The Big Bang Theory are preparing to leave their roles as their contracts with CBS come to an end. When Season 10 begins, fans at home will have been warned that Penny (Kaley Cuoco) and Leonard (Johnny Galecki) are set to bow out by the end of the season.
However, the other main cast of The Big Bang Theory also have their contracts ending at the close of Season 10. On the other hand, Jim Parsons, Simon Helberg, Kunal Nayyar, Mayim Bialik and Melissa Rauch are all open to stay on and continue with the show if CBS orders more seasons and the show creators wish to continue on. Steven Molaro has spoken to The Hollywood Reporter and explained that Season 10 could be a predecessor to many seasons yet to come.
It has also been reported that if and when The Big Bang Theory comes to a close, a movie to conclude everything is highly unlikely. Kunal Nayyar suggested that the closest to a Big Bang Theory movie for fans would be something like a two-hour-long special of the show. He claims this is because the style of the show doesn't meet the required standards for a movie.
The cast of The Big Bang Theory will be returning to our screens on October 27th 2016 as they all return for Season 10, possibly for the last time.
Do You Think The Big Bang Theory Has The Potential To Continue On After Season 10 Without Penny And Leonard?
