Make A Splash And Meet The Cast Of 'Finding Dory'

Are you ready to take the plunge back into the world of Pixar's Finding Nemo? 2003's underwater bubble-fest left us laughing, crying and no longer scared to step into the water (thanks, Jaws)! With its colorful cast and beautiful graphics, Nemo stole a place in our hearts. Now it's nearly time for the sequel, Finding Dory — the film we never expected. With a new trailer just dropped, It is time to "just keep swimming" and "find" the rest of the cast. Ellen DeGeneres as Dory

Whereas Dory took a backseat in Finding Nemo, DeGeneres's performance as the forgetful Pacific regal blue tang made her a fan favorite. Front and center for the sequel, Finding Dory follows her on her quest to reunite with her parents, meeting some old — and some new faces — along the way.

Hayden Rolence and Albert Brooks as Nemo and Marlin

While the first film was responsible for the spike in sales of clownfish, don't expect Finding Dory to slow the trend thanks to this father and son duo. Newcomer Hayden Rolence is replacing Alexander Gould as Nemo, while Albert Brooks is back as his grumpy father Marlin. Finding Nemo saw Marlin and Dory hot on the tail of Nemo, but this time it looks like the roles are reversed as the clownfish go after their friend.

Ed O'Neill as Hank

A star of the new trailer, Ed O'Neil plays the deformed octopus Hank, so-called septopus because he lost a tentacle (and apparently his sense of humor). He may team up with Dory in the film, but Hank is only looking for a way out of the marine research facility. Expect O'Neil to bring his grouchy Modern Family charm to the role.

Kaitlin Olson as Destiny

The clumsy whale shark Destiny seems to think that Dory looks familiar. A poor swimmer with poor eyesight ensures that Destiny and Dory are a hapless duo trapped in the film. Dory's ability to speak whale pops up again in the film, but we suggest she takes a few more lessons.

Ty Burrell as Bailey

Adding to the Modern Family alumni is Ty Burrell as Bailey the beluga whale. Bailey is convinced that his echolocation skills are on the fritz, joining the rest of the faulty cast of characters in the film. While his old friend Destiny can't get through to him, maybe new pal Dory can?

Idris Elba and Dominic West as Fluke and Rudder

Don't ask us which one is which — we don't know yet! Away from the rumors that he could be the next James Bond, Elba plays one of the cockney sea lion double act Fluke and Rudder. He is joined by his The Wire co-star Dominic West as the supposedly reformed mammals. Moving away from their diet of fish, we are promised their bark is worse than their bite.

Andrew Stanton as Crush

He's back, dude. The laidback sea turtle from Finding Nemo is still riding the ocean currents, presumably helping Marlin and Nemo find their friend. Andrew Stanton is back to voice crush, but his son Squirt is replaced by Bennett Dammann.

There we have it, so what do you think? Does the cast look like its counterparts? While this is the third trailer released, it still keeps a few of its cast under wraps. We have already seen Diane Keaton and Eugene Levy , who will be playing Dory's parents (above); Willem Dafoe returns as Gill, Bill Hader has an undisclosed role and Sigourney Weaver will be playing herself! To top it off, original Nemo Alexander Gould WILL have a cameo. As the 5th highest-grossing animated film of all time and "netting" $936.7 million, Finding Nemo was definitely catch of the day. Will Finding Dory sink or swim? We only have to wait until June 17 to find out!
