Marvel characters have always played a major role in entertaining us, from TV to action figures. The constant recycling of heroes and villains has, however, led to the tiresome monotony that we are just not down for.

The good thing is that other franchises are doing their best fill that void. The Walking Dead action figures are great example how successful TV show can produce a hype and an army of new fans.

Marvel have recently announced characters they will be bringing back and action hero lovers are literally on the edge. These are just my top five picks of characters I can’t wait for:

1. Tigershark

Tigershark is seriously one of the coolest super-villains out there. This botched science experiment is full of adventure, especially around water. I would love to see who he viciously attacks next. His mad animal instincts combined with his awesome swimming skills made him make this top five list.

2. Batroc the Leaper

One of the few French fictional characters, he entertained us with his killer savate skills. His martial arts skills are not to be reckoned with. He has had run-ins with heroes like Captain America and Deadpool. Batroc might not possess superhuman or inhuman abilities, but his amazing physical skills are what set him apart.

His leg muscles are buff, toned, and flexed, enabling him to leap great distances. He is pretty much the super-villain version of Jean-Claude Van Damme.

3. Blizzard

We first had a run in with Blizzard in Iron Man issue 86. He is a classic Marvel villain and we cannot wait for his icy demeanor and kleptomaniac ways. He has been assigned a new super cool costume that is not too teched out like some of the Marvel characters usually are.

I can’t help but fantasise about what piece of technology he plans on getting his Hans on this time, and what catastrophe he plans on unleashing to the world.

4. A.I.M Soldier

These beekeeper dudes first made their debut in the Captain America Marvel Legends Infinite series. They were essentially a terrorist organization run by scientists. The abbreviation stands for Advanced Idea Mechanics. Their main goal was to rule the world by using technological means.

The organisation supplied firearms and other weaponry to terrorist groups in a bid to cultivate a technological revolution. They’re making a major comeback complete with new Hydra members to replace the old ones. Hail Hydra as this is most important ever to a number of people who are well known.

5. Carnage

Carnage’s first appearance was in the Amazing Spiderman. He will soon be featured in the upcoming Spider-Man Marvel Legends Infinite series. The character is a Symbiote: a race of extra-terrestrial parasites. He is best remembered Spider-Man’s opponent and Venom’s archenemy. The idea behind this super-villain is amazing.

His ability to shapeshift was one of his coolest features. He could manipulate body parts to project a web-like substance into other objects such as weapons. Like many other alien characters, he could plant thoughts into a person’s head.

His physique is also aesthetically pleasing, though some critics have argued that the character was drawn poorly. Either way, we can’t wait for his comeback to stores.

Conclusion

I would like to add that this list was compiled according to my personal preference. I know that you have your personal favourites and that is fine, but only thing is certain that Marvel does not show signs of slowing down anytime soon.
