Welcome back to the "Why not do these?" series.

Today, more anime that has not been considered from well-known series or other well-known series that have yet to become anime. Whether they should make into video games or more anime is up for debate. Let's take a look, shall we?

'Hokuto No Ken: The Beginning'

I know that the Hokuto No Ken series is very popular and has had a prequel series, Souten no Ken, along with some video games as of recent. But what about the beginnings of the style?

There has been nothing so far about the deadly fighting style known as Hokuto Shinken and how it was founded.

The history behind Hokuto Shinken can be found here.

So therefore, why not make an anime series about the early founders of Hokuto Shinken as well as how they were able to survive after the fall of the Eastern Han Dynasty?

'Souten no Ken'

The prequel to the Hokuto No Ken series taking place in the days leading up to World War 2.

The lead protagonist, Kenshiro Kasumi, also known as Yan Wangor, the "King of Hell, is a laid-back, chain-smoking professor that returns to China after his Triad buddy Pan Guang-Lin and lover Pan Yu-Ling are in trouble from the local members of organized crime.

The series has never been made into a video game. It could feature gang warfare, nightclub drink serving, and underground fights, and the possibilities of having these side quests and other objectives are endless.

'Hajime no Ippo'

A video game of this series was made first for the Playstation (which was never released in America) and the more recent one was released for the Playstation 3 (again never released in America)

Two for the Playstation 2 was released in America. No other version of this anime series has been released for video games. Maybe it should be time for the series to make a return to the console world.

'Warhammer': The Anime

There are plenty of fantasy-fiction based anime out there (Record of Lodoss War being my favorite one of all time), so why not add the grim, dark realm of the world of Warhammer to the anime world?

Face it, the recent Warhammer Fantasy games have pretty much hit the toilet faster than someone who has diarrhea. That is very discouraging.

So why not take the most popular fantasy fiction series and turn into an anime series? A manga? A better video game as an anime?

One thing is for certain: This series isn't going away anytime soon.

Wong Fei-Hung

Like myself, there are many people who are fans of Jet Li and of course a fan of Wong Fei-Hung. But what about making an anime, video game or manga of the greatest martial artists that ever lived? Nothing like this has ever been done. There have been mostly movies (as seen above) and TV shows about him. So I think it's time that such a thing be made possible.

What could the plot of such a thing be about?

Would it be about him leading his students on an Anti-Opium campaign? Fighting group like the White Lotus cult (as seen in Once Upon A Timein China 2)? Or even fighting evil western capitalists and corrupt officials?

One thing is for certain: You can't have the series without his students Leung Foon and Lam Sai-wing.

'Cestus'

The character obliviously named after the title of this manga is also the name of the type of glove that he wears. The character is a slave-turned-gladiator who fights unarmed against other gladiators during the early days of Emperor Nero.

Not much else can be described of the series (until you read it) other than the fact that it is brutal, it is bloody and it's the only anime so far that takes place in the days of the Roman Empire.

Love it or hate it?

You decide, and please don't hesitate to tip me.
