I previously shared my article 5 Hilarious Ghost-buster Trailer Reactions on the subject (the stay puft marshmallow man's is still my favourite) and have been encouraged to share my own views on the matter.
So watch my ramblings below.....
I guess us hardcore 80's children, or kids who had amazing parents! am i right, who got to see the originals at the right time were never gonna take to this remake idea. Quite frankly, adding women for the sake of it is more like a 90's idea anyways! i mean why not a mixed gender team?....
well Hemsworth in there so....
Now what gets me the most is the whole point of it being a complete reboot! i mean if J.J.Abrams can give the world a New Star Treck Franchise that was both a reboot but a continuation of the originals, i don't see why Ghost-busters couldn't have had a similar treatment!
ok Shatner didn't get his cameo....yet!
The person i actually feel bad for is Dan Aykroyd, who basically created the Ghostbusters franchise to begin with. The fact he couldn't get a third Ghostbusters made over the last 20+ years just goes to show how harsh the industry can be.
i made a Blues Brothers sequel y'know....
At least they got the game made.....repeat....at least they got the game made......
A kickass addition to the original Movies
At the end of the day this reboot isn't happening, it's happened! so we'll all see if Paul Feig has managed to make something remotely watchable this summer.
Personally i will go see it and TRY to focus my tunnel vision and give the movie a chance on the day i see it.........i mean Wiig's got a couple of funny bones right?

It Only Took One Minute.......
It only took a minute. I was sitting at the computer in my office when the phone rang. I picked up the receiver and then laid it down my desk as I went to find the student who the call was for. Within seconds I was back at my desk, ready to resume typing, when I heard the student yelling obscenities at me for listening in to his call through the handset that was still lying on the desk. Sick and tired of the lies he was spewing, I was up running down the hall, ready to kill him. By the time I reached him, I had calmed enough not to hurt him, but as I turned back towards my room, I knew that I couldn’t go on like this any longer. The decision was clear. I had to leave.
