Picture Decryption

The image is of some interest. For one, the addition of Storm (Alexandra Shipp) to the team is an interesting development. We've seen her character featured heavily in the promotional footage for X-Men: Apocalypse as one of Apocalypse's Four Horsemen. Now, it's common knowledge for fans of the "X-Men" to recognize Storm more commonly as one of the "X-Men", but her portrayal on-screen in X-Men: Apocalypse (2016) showcases her as an antagonist in the new film. The image embed above, seems to be a bit of SPOILER content, as it sets the stage for the next film, with the main lineup of the X-Men suited up, and ready to go. Mainly proven by Storm's (Alexandra Shipp) addition to the team. As well as the rest of the "X-Men" looking prepared, as if they've just taken down Apocalypse, and are ready to face some tests in the Danger room. Could they be looking at Wolverine? Wolverine has been known to lead lessons in the Danger Room (the Danger Room is the training room inside of the Xavier Institute) with his group of young mutants. The entire X-men team is assembled here, well except Jubilee and Wolverine that is. Or could Wolverine and a few other mutants potentially be standing opposite of this team of X-Men? If the image means nothing in terms of continuity for the series, Wolverine could be standing opposite of the 'X-Men' alongside Psylocke, Magneto, Angel, Caliban, Jubilee, and Nate Grey; all mutants set to make an appearance in "X-Men: Apocalypse (2016).

The X-Men assembled.

The X-Men are here

Apart from the inclusion of Apocalypse's Horsemen, Storm to the full team of X-Men. We're also privy to the reveal of the 'X-Men' in their classic uniforms. Scott Summers/Cyclops, Jean Grey, Kurt Wagner/Nightcrawler, Aurora Monroe/Storm, Hank McCoy, and Peter Maximoff/Quicksilver, all suited up in their classic X-Men attire. Along with them, we get a distant image of the bald Professor Xavier (James McAvoy) seated in his wheelchair. We have the whole cast here, but where is Wolverine? Surely, Director, Bryan Singer didn't outfit the whole team of X-Men without bringing in Wolverine, in his classic comic-book suit? Aside from that, the whole piece of information that is truly noteworthy is that the whole team of X-Men are suited up here. It's obvious from the image embed above, that the image is representative of the conclusion of the film, wherein the X-Men are given their new suits and set up in the Danger Room for training. They are X-Men, it's time that they learn how to fight like them. Adding Storm to the team photo, proves the timing of the image being taken towards the end of the film. Could this be the last sequence of the film? And is this the image of the starting team of X-Men in the next chapter of the "X-Men" franchise?

Marvel Comics, Wolverine.
