What happens when Emile enters Remy's world?

Warnings: swearing, drugs, implied r*pe plans

Emile allowed Remy to drag him to a music festival, which was made easier by the fact that he didn't have any appointments the following day. Emile had grown tired of feeling like he's too innocent to handle what the real world could bring him in contrast to what Remy considered to be fun. Plus, when Remy joked that he dated Emile so he'd always have a designated driver, it really got the cartoon addict's goat, and not Chompy that time. He wanted to prove that he could be just as fun as Remy, so when Remy mentioned this music festival, Emile knew that would be his chance to have some more fun in a night than he ever allegedly did in his teen years.

Remy waited outside of Emile's place as evening struck and found a man walk out with a headband, shades, light-blue ripped jeans, birkenstocks, and a vest cut up so that there were no sleeves and the majority of his torso was exposed like Aladdin. The only giveaway that the man Remy was gawking at was his boyfriend was the headband having "Steven Universe" characters on it. Ironically, it was clear that Emile had put a lot of work into dressing down for the evening.

"I didn't know I was dating a genetically modified Ditto," Remy joked while referencing when they went to see Detective Pikachu.

Emile chuckled and kissed Remy before they went to his car. Of course, he was in the driver's seat, and Remy was riding shotgun pulling up directions to the music festival.

"You mind if I put on some tunes on the way there? It might feel like leaving one world and entering another," Emile stated once he started the car.

"Go ahead. Then I won't just rely on the headband to remind me I'm not riding with a stranger," Remy half-joked.

Emile put on his Spotify playlist consisting of soundtracks from various animated shows and movies. By the time they made it to the music festival, they erupted in laughs and loving words towards each other. They got out of the car and Emile handed his keys to Remy. He took the keys and put them in his jacket pocket.

"Planning on having too much fun tonight?" Remy asked.

"Out of the two of us, you're the only one who has pockets with zippers," Emile answered.

The pair made their way to the cluster of crowds and Emile basically just followed Remy's lead. Emile was feeling great while exploring the combination of various types of music, the fresh air, even just the various people he walked past. There was a diverse array of people having fun in their own ways that it made Emile want to people-watch and make guesses on what their lives might've been like away from the music festival.

Even though Remy liked to joke and go a little crazy every now and then, he was still somewhat concerned about what would happen to Emile in a place Remy considered his own territory. He held Emile's hand as they were navigating through the crowds until Remy kept up the the pace and found some people he knew. As they high fived and clanked their Starbucks cups together, Emile giggled at the interaction.

"Chandler, Quil, meet by BF, Emile," Remy introduced before whispering the proper pronouns to Emile.

"So much music and fun here you'd think we were at the Plaza de la Cruz," Emile joked.

Chandler and Quil chuckled and Remy rubbed Emile's back. For a while, they were sitting on the grass joking around and talking. Emile listened to the music and looked around at his environment. He felt a rumbling in his stomach, and remembered that the music festival had some vendors that were quite a walk away.

"Hey, guys, mind if I go to grab a bite?" he innocently asked.

Remy gave Emile a peck on the lips.

"Go ahead, babes. Just shoot me a call or a text in case things go awry," Remy claimed with a cool and collected tone.

Emile walked around, and on his way to the vendors, he saw a lot of people that almost made him surprised that they were adults. Then again, he and Remy were, in different ways, far from mature and he loved the Starbucks addict without hesitation. He walked by the vendors and found it tough to decide what to grab until he decided to settle for a burger from one vendor and Fried Oreos and Milk from another vendor. He munched on the fried treat, and felt like a little kid munching on a dream come true when, suddenly, he tripped on a foot covered by a dark boot and gripped onto his food during the fall. As he felt grateful that he wasn't wearing an actual shirt, he turned around with the intention of apologizing to whom he tripped over.

The man looked at Emile up and down while giving a sly smile.

"First time coming here?" the man asked.

"Umm, yes, I came here with my boyfriend," Emile explained.

"How about we make like Wilford Motherloving Warfstache and have a little fun?" the man proclaimed, sounding unbothered by the fact that Emile had a boyfriend.

The man pulled out a pill from his pocket and Emile looked skeptical upon seeing it. As skeptical as he was, he felt that maybe it was a pill Remy was familiar with. Emile swallowed the pill, and felt himself shaking as well as everything around him turning into goo. The music was altered many times over and Emile lost track of time while dancing the best he could while shaking and cramping. He found himself floating within some black and green goo while dancing like a fool.

Remy walked around looking for Emile since calling him resulted in no answer. With the help of various lights, he was able to catch a glimpse of Emile being carried over someone's shoulder, and caught a glimpse of some green attire and a thin mustache. Remy felt his blood boil and ran up to the man punching him in the jaw. While the man reacted, Emile fell and clung to his stomach.

"What the hell are you thinking?" Remy shouted.

"Ah, Remy. I thought we weren't going to interfere with each other's fun. We were just going to give this piece of fresh meat a night he wishes he'd remember," the man said with a devilish grin.

"If you ever lay your slimy fingers on my boyfriend, I'll punch your teeth in so hard they'll dissolve in your stomach while coated in Damien's cum!" Remy shouted without caring who would hear.

The man's eyes widened as if his life suddenly flashed before his eyes.

"Wait, you're his boyfriend?" the man questioned before running off.

Remy crouched to Emile's level and felt a fever from the therapist's forehead. With a bit of struggle from Emile's incoherent rambling and occasional vomiting, they finally made it to Emile's car and Remy texted his friends about the situation before driving to Emile's home. As Remy was getting Emile in the house and to bed, he heard Emile mumbling about being cared for by an angel and felt extremely guilty. They were on Emile's Looney Tunes bedsheets, and Remy held him tight, protectively.

The next morning, Emile squirmed and woke up with a pounding headache. He remembered everything up to taking the pill with the stranger, but things went hazy. The groaning, eventually, woke up his more outlandish counterpart.

"Emile, are you okay, babe?" Remy asked genuinely.

"I... I'm not sure. I took a pill with a stranger and figured you knew about it, but I can't really think straight," Emile muttered.

As they were having orange juice and Mickey Mouse pancakes, Remy explained to Emile that the man he encountered was named Remus Ellington. Remy went on to explain how they used to be friends with benefits until Remus decided to add unpredictable essentials into their sex life causing him to cut ties with Remus. He also explained that, from the description Emile gave, and the symptoms experienced, pointed to the poor therapist being drugged with ecstasy. By the time he started to tell Emile what Remus was planning on doing, he just broke down.

"I shouldn't have dragged you with me! I never wanted this to happen to you!" Remy proclaimed over and over.

Emile looked at Remy, and was able to see how much the Starbucks addict really cared for him. Emile carefully hugged him as he was freaking out.

"Not all music festivals are like that, right?" Emile asked.

"Of course not. I figured it would be like the other ones," Remy answered.

"I'm sure things would be different next time."

"Actually, maybe it's best if you stepped away from them so I won't risk stepping Remus's head in."

There was a knock at the door, and Emile stumbled to it. He expected his stomach to be in knots, but it wasn't. When Emile opened the door, he could see why his stomach wasn't in knots: Chandler and Quil were at his door with some teabags and a Pikachu pillow.

"Th-thank you, but how did you both know where I was?" Emile asked while gratefully taking the items and hugs from them.

"I hope you don't mind, they asked me if they could drop off some things to help you feel better, so I gave them the address," Remy explained from behind Emile.

Emile turned around and hugged Remy, and felt so much happiness from how much Remy cared about the cartoon addict's wellbeing.
