Top 10 Things I've Binge Watched

Having binged on so many things since 2014, this episode had me do a top ten list, along with some honorable mentions, of what I've seen. Keep in mind that this was made over two years ago, and thus I've seen way more things since then so maybe one day I'll do a followup video with another top ten.

I've been able to watch many of these shows and movies through various means. These include Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, Amazon Prime, and a few others.

1. 'Whoniverse'

The fictional universe set in DoctorWho and its various spinoffs that include K9 and Company, Torchwood, The Sarah Jane Adventures, and to a lesser extent K9. While this would include Class, it wasn't around yet when I was binging it.

2. 'Futurama'

Science fiction comedy animated series about a frozen pizza guy waking up in the year 3000. Created by Matt Groening for Fox and then Comedy Central, the same man who created The Simpsons.

3. 'Arrowverse'

Superhero universe started by Arrow that includes The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, Constantine, Vixen, The Ray and to a certain degree Supergirl, the 1990s Flash, and Black Lightning as they're set on other Earths. At the time I hadn't binged on Legends yet, and haven't done so for Constantine, the older Flash, or Lightning.

4. 'Cheers', 'Wings', and 'Frasier'

Three sitcoms set in the same universe and all created by the same people going from 1982 to 2004. The first is a show set mainly in a bar dealing with the regular patrons, while the second is set in a small airport and had crossovers with Cheers, and the last is a spinoff of the first dealing with a psychiatrist and his Seattle based radio show.

5. 'Star Trek Universe'

A series of television shows and movies all started in 1966 set in a future wherein after the people of Earth have found peace and are able to travel through space, they set out to find whatever is out there. Initially didn't get to see First Contact until much later and Discovery is currently unavailable.

6. 'American Horror Story'

An anthology horror series wherein each season is set in a different setting and with different genres and themes, though all set in the same universe as many characters from different seasons interact. Whether it's a haunted house in the modern day or a freak show in the 1960s. Have binged on later seasons since then whenever can't find anything else.

7. The Marvel Netflix Shows

Set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, these superhero shows deal with the more street level and darker aspects of the superhero franchise. These all include Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, The Defenders, and Punisher. Only Daredevil and Jones were out at the time I made the video and the others were much later.

8. Seth MacFarlane's Animated Shows

With crossovers and spinoffs, Seth MacFarlane created Family Guy, American Dad, and The Cleveland Show in which are all set in the same universe. Have continued binging whenever later seasons become available.

9. 'Power Rangers'

Using most of its footage from a long running Japanese show, this superhero series started in 1993 with a group of teenagers wearing power suits to fight monsters. Occasionally catch up with newer seasons whenever they're ready to watch.

10. '30 Rock'

NBC sitcom created by Tina Fey revolving around the cast and crew of a popular sketch comedy show. The first comedy I binged on after long runners Power Rangers, Star Trek, and Doctor Who.

Honorable Mentions:

'Parks and Recreation'

Amy Poehler starring NBC sitcom dealing with the crazy politics of a small town. While shot differently from 30 Rock, has some of the same comedic style.

'Brooklyn Nine Nine'

Fox comedy that deals with the wacky antics of a police precinct in New York City. Binged alongside New Girl later on as they had a crossover after initial binging.

'Longmire'

Police drama about a grizzled cop in Wyoming with a very understaffed department. Was watching it at the time of the video being made and have finished it later on.

'Psych'

A detective comedy about a guy pretending to be psychic so as to be considered a police consultant. Though binged on entire series, have not gotten to the first television movie.

'Voltron: Legendary Defender'

Modern reboot of the 1980s anime series in which a team forms a giant robot to battle alien conquerors. Have gotten to the later seasons after initial binge on and off whenever possible.
