My YouTube Influences

In one of my earliest videos, I talk about the various YouTube channels I watch on a daily basis that have both entertained me and influenced me in some way. I talk about what each channel does and what makes their videos unique from one another.

How It Should Have Ended

Animated comedy series that recreates how certain popular films or shows should have ended in various comedic ways, as well as some skits dealing mostly with Superman and Batman and quick reviews of very recent pop culture films with spoilers.

Fine Bros

The Fine brothers initially made live action and animated skits and a series of videos in which they revealed the endings of movies and shows in under a certain amount of time. Now they have numerous different people reacting to videos whether they be funny, sad, or topical.

React

A second channel by the Fine brothers that emphasizes more of the reacting and adds gaming videos, guessing games, challenges, and trying certain foods with the same people from their first channel. Some of the reaction videos have a specific age group reacting to them, such as kids, teenagers, college attendees, adults, parents, and elders.

Schmoes Know

Two comedic viewers give their thoughts on recent films as well as do occasional trivia challenges related to movies and television, and make other film related videos.

Screen Junkies

A comedy channel that does parodies of trailers to past movies and shows that point out their flaws once a week, as well as other videos in which they talk about things related to them, have a trivia challenge every week, and just make fun videos. They have a secondary channel wherein they discuss current news related to films.

Smosh Games

A video game channel that I watch mainly for the video game trailer parodies, similar to Screen Junkies with the same voice actor.

Cinemasins

A comedic movie channel that looks at past films and points out the flaws as sins, with some of them just for the sake of comedy, usually 2 a week.

Music Video Sins

The music video version of Cinemasins with the same voice actor, usually 2-3 videos a week.

Emergency Awesome

Pop culture channel that looks at many easter eggs and references as well as reviews movies, shows, and video games with large fanbases, like anything to do with DC, Marvel, Game of Thrones, or other media.

Cinefix

A film based channel that makes numerous videos dealing with the history of films in various aspects, reviews, random facts to movies, adaptational differences, lists of various things in movies, etc.

Channel Awesome

Media company with videos on YouTube with dozens of creators reviewing various forms of pop culture whether movies, shows, video games, comics, and other things by people like Nostalgia Critic, Linkara, Cinema Snob, Brandon, Tenold, and others.

Alternative to Channel Awesome

If can't find a good video from Channel Awesome to watch, there are other channels with similar ways of making videos; try Cinemassacre by the Angry Video Game Nerd, who makes skits like reviews of video games, and does reviews of horror films throughout October every year, or Toy Bounty Hunters, a channel that looks at the history of Super Sentai and Power Rangers.

Watchmojo

Canadian based video series that makes three to five videos a day dealing with various top 10s of pretty much anything, film and show reviews, comic book superhero and super villain origins, and other random things.

Two Trailers

Watch any two new recent trailers, whether from movies, shows, or even video games, through various trailer channels like Movieclips or the YouTube channels from various film and television studios like Netflix, the BBC, and Universal.
