"Prince Charming" to get his own Tale
With Disney constantly thinking of new ways to bring the Disney characters to live-action on the bring screen, it was only a matter of time before they decided to look into the men in their tales for inspiration.

While the concept of telling the male's point of view, especially from a smarmy one as shown in Into the Woods and to as far back as Prince Charming back in 2001 (not Disney related but ironically starred one of the Once Upon a Time actors Sean Maguire) it is one that has never been the focal point for a Disney movie thus far.
While the details are still being worked on, it appears that at the helm of the project will be Matt Fogel, who wrote the script, while David Hoberman, Todd Lieberman and Tripp Vinson are going to produce.
Also unique to this movie will be that the story might be told from another character's viewpoint, the brother who never quite lived up to the family's expectations. It could be interesting and give a different viewpoint, possibly that Charming wasn't so "charming" after all, or perhaps with him chasing the woman of his dreams the parents looked to the brother to possibly stand in his place because they thought he might be going mad.
I think that it would make a nice change to have the man's story told for a change, which might make it more interesting for the guys while the women still get their fairytale aspect. It is unclear which prince they will decide to go for, since so many are known as Charming, but I am sure that Disney will always bring their own magic to it
