Warning: This post contains spoilers from Arrow Season 5!

Adrian Chase's goal this year has been to destroy Oliver Queen. He's thrown a lot of obstacles at the Green Arrow, but Oliver's still standing...at least for now. The end of Episode 19 changed all that when an explosion in the Arrowcave sends Oliver and Felicity flying, but not before we hear Felicity tell Oliver that Chase is in the building.

In the trailer for Episode 20 of Arrow, Felicity says that an EMP, which is an electromagnetic pulse, caused the blast. The EMP doesn't just take out the electronics in the bunker; it also disables the chip in Felicity's spine that allows her to walk. Oliver appears to be severely injured, which puts him and Felicity in a vulnerable position — and may very well be what Prometheus wants now.

With his identity revealed, Adrian Chase may have decided to change his game plan, especially since Adrian can't be anything other than a fugitive now. The shine of destroying Oliver has eroded, replaced by a desire for burning revenge to end the one man who has turned the tables on Adrian.

With Felicity and Oliver trapped in the bunker, Prometheus has the upper hand. And if he's looking to harm either or both of them, it will be like shooting fish in a barrel.

Executive director Wendy Mericle didn't help ease our minds with what she said to Entertainment Weekly when asked about the team:

"It’s safe to say, without teasing too much, they’re in the most danger they’ve ever been in."

Mericle then went on to hint at possible deaths that might take place on the season finale on May 24th:

"Chase has been trying to prove to the world and to Oliver that he's not a hero, he's a killer, and he's going to pull out one final, big whamo at the end that's going to leave Oliver reeling. We might lose some people."

Though Adrian Chase might now want Oliver dead, we know that isn't going to happen, but collateral damage is a strong possibility. As we all know, not everyone can escape the danger surrounding Oliver Queen. Just ask Detective Billy Malone.

Arrow airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on The CW.
