Disney fans who have been to any of the parks may have become confused when they met the famous Disney princess with golden hair. After all, at the end of Tangled, Rapunzel's hair is cut into a short brown bob and we have been told that it doesn't grow again after that.

In case you need a refresher on how that happened, here's the scene from the original film where she loses her magical locks:

However, when #Disney Channel officially announced that they would be making a Tangled TV series, the first promo released showed us that once again Rapunzel had her long flowing locks.

And in the latest promo video for the accompanying short film Tangled: Before Ever After, we find that Rapunzel had her short hair to begin with, but it appears as though some magic has made her hair grow again.

Rapunzel and her handmaiden, Cassandra, try to cut the hair, much like she did in the first film. However, the scissors end up broken and it appears as though they will be unable to cut it as easily as they did before.

Flynn tries to be supportive, but it is clear that he is freaked out by the fact that her hair grew back. It caused the main trouble in the original film, and could cause her harm again, so of course he's worried.

Many of our favorite characters are returning to the series, including Pascal, Maximus and the King and Queen. They also are adding new characters, like fleshing out some of the thugs from the Snuggly Duckling and adding #Rapunzel's handmaiden, Cassandra.

It should be interesting to see the world of Tangled get expanded, and I can't wait to see how they handle it.
