Returning To The Flash... But With A Twist
We've learned some news about Ronnie Raymond thanks to an exclusive at EW ...
Back in October it was rumored that Robbie Amell would be returning to The Flash. At the end of season one and into season two we watched as Ronnie Raymond flew into the singularity in hopes of saving Central City from its eminent destruction. After stopping the singularity by ultimately sacrificing himself, we watched as Dr. Stein seemed to have been separated permanently from his flame-y counterpart. After the dust settled we discovered Dr. Stein's new partner in Jefferson Jackson, and we found that several characters (Dr. Light, Zoom, Jay Garrick have been breaching the break between the Earth we all know, and Earth-2 as well as the remaining multiverse.
Well, we've learned some news about Ronnie Raymond thanks to an exclusive at EW we now know how this character will be returning to The Flash. Andrew Kreisberg, executive producer had this to say:
We are beyond excited to have Robbie back on The flash. You can't keep a good Firestorm down. Only this time, he's back with a twist, a deadly Earth-Two version of our beloved Ronnie in the form of Deathstorm.
Ronnie Raymond, if you're unaware of the comic book history was resurrected during the Blackest Nights storyline as the villain Deathstorm.
Ronnie Raymond from Earth-2 is married to that Earth's Caitlin Snow, who has become the supervillain Killer Frost. Bringing both characters across will surely provide an incredible challenge for Team Flash.
