When the dust settled from the war, among many other factions, the Black Dragons were born. Chow Len is the new name of this warrior, formerly known as Kano. Chow Len went into hiding in Asia and Africa, working with various warlords along the way. Because of his extensive arsenal of hand-held and automatic weapons, the warlords bestowed the title "The Prophet" on Chow Len. Chow Len became known for hanging out with a group of highly skilled assassins and merciless bounty hunters as a result. However, any genuine opportunity to make Chow Len the Prophet's hand superior to his competitor was always a reason to secure permanent power in the Black Dragon Clan.

Chow Len the Prophet reconsidered the war he would eventually face, and possibly funding, after nearly losing his life due to this type of work on a specific mission. When Chow Len decided to retire from weapon handling and bounty hunting, The Prophet ensured that his wife Mizuho of the "Legendary Six Samurai" was always loved and protected. Chow Len was aware that his wife Mizuho had the ability to communicate with Amaterasu, the higher spirit enchantress.

With this connection to the higher spirits, the Black Dragon Clan would never be defeated when defending its fortress. However, unbeknownst to The Prophet and his wife Mizuho, a darkish purple portal appeared in front of the Black Dragon Clan's entrance, and from it emerged a tight kill squad of ape-like ninja warriors dispatched by the dark master Zeman the Ape King.

This Ape King came from the strange world of Sector 54 B, and stories predicted his arrival. During the grueling battle on the front lines of the Black Dragon Clan with the ape-like ninjas of Sector 54 B, Chow took it upon himself to make a risky deal with the lava spirit whispered of the region. Chow Len made the desperate decision to hand over his vessel to the Laval Judgement Lord, a lava spirit.

The dark power Zeman the Ape King had brought with him to destroy the Chow Lens clan was only powerful enough to fight the Black Dragon Clan in human form, but it was invincible to Chow Len. The Prophet and Mizuho, along with the spirits of Laval Judgment Lord and Amaterasu, were strong enough to secure the Black Dragon Clan's greatest victory.

However, no great victory is free of cost. The Ape King had other plans for the Black Dragon Clan. Chow Len, the newly appointed Laval Lord, stood over the defeated Ape King Zeman, a lava-dripping blade poised to annihilate whatever remained of the rival ape. In the blink of an eye, the Ape King launched a massive darkness sphere in the direction of Mizuho's Amaterasu form. Screams of pain and suffering filled the battlefield-torn entrance to the Black Dragon Clan camp. What remained were the charred remains of the legendary samurai.

Chow Len, the Laval Lord, killed Zeman the Ape King, effectively ending the Sector 54 B matriarch's reign. Mizuho's memory was forever buried in Chow Len's heart, despite the fact that their love was short-lived. As the sky began to rumble with thunder, fierce lightning storms were seen brewing ahead. Chow Len the Prophet would soon learn how much damage he had done by killing the evil ape king, as a group of warriors appeared out of a newly formed portal similar to Zeman the Ape King. This time, the portal had a dark blue atmosphere. Whatever challenge Chow Len faced, he knew he was capable of seeking redemption for it all.
