The mic is off, the battle is on! What began as a fun segment on Jimmy Fallon’s late night show, has now grown into a full-fledged series of its own. With John Krasinski and Stephen Merchant signed on as two of the producers, Lip Sync Battle debuted on Spike on April 2, 2015 and was an instant success. Since its first debut episode, the show has experienced moments of great fun. Each episode features two A-list celebrities like you've never seen them before, syncing their hearts out in hysterically epic performances. Out of all the celebrities to have performed on the Lip Sync Battle stage, there are eight performances in particular that were so sexy and fun that we had to highlight them in this list!

Julianne Hough

It is well known that Julianne Hough can dance, but when it came to lip syncing, the jury was still out. Would she have what it took to beat her older brother, Derek, during her performance on Lip Sync Battle? Well if you missed her lip syncing debut, then you missed out on one sexy performance. Hough got down and dirty on the dance floor and left little to the imagination during her performance of Lonely Island's "I Just Had Sex". Hough came out with two shirtless and very fit male dancers, who were not above humping the floor as she crawled on it, twerked, and even grinded against her back up dancers. She also managed to embarrass her brother as she lip synced lyrics such as, "Have you ever had sex? I did, it felt great! It feels so good when I did it with my penis." Julianne ended up as the victor, while Derek was left with memories that might haunt him for life.

Anne Hathaway

When Anne Hathaway starred in the 2012 feature film, Les Miserables, fans were blown away by her singing. In her showdown against her former Devil Wears Prada costar, Emily Blunt, Hathaway surprised her fans again. However, it wasn’t due to her singing. It was her lip syncing. Borrowing Miley Cyrus' distinct video look of a tank-top and tighty whiteys, Hathaway mimed the lyrics to "Wrecking Ball" with desperation, even slipping in an up-close diss to Blunt with the line "I guess I should've let you win." The performance included an actual wrecking ball that she hopped on before flipping Emily off. The grand finale was a swing on an actual wrecking ball that whipped the crowd into a frenzy and left both Blunt and host LL Cool J speechless on the sidelines.

Malin Akerman

If sex sells, then Malin Akerman tried her hardest to appeal to those stirrings during her performance on Lip Sync Battle. Between her song choice and seductive moves, it was a no-holds-barred match in which Akerman flaunted her hotness for all to see. Akerman turned up the volume for her second performance which included twerking back-up dancers, some booty pops, and of course, stage humping. It all made sense considering she was performing to Jason Derulo's "Talk Dirty." The international actress rocked a low cut black tank top, covered with a leather jacket and multiple chains draped around her neck, paired with baggy black leather trousers. Covering the majority of her blonde hair was a bright red hat complemented by matching bright red sneakers, as she busted her moves accompanied by a group of background dancers. Although she didn’t beat out her competitor, Stephen Merchant, she seemed to be Chrissy Teigen’s favorite. "She's like the most adorable gangster I've ever seen. She's like if American Girls dolls made like a thug Samantha," Teigen joked about Akerman's swagged-out routine.

Hoda Kotb

Hoda Kotb proved that she can hang with the boys when she performed an amazing rendition of "Uptown Funk" on Lip Sync Battle. In the preshow, the Today co-anchor admitted that she was "a little worried about screwing up the words and screwing up the moves. I'm not the girl who does the sexy dance. I'm the other girl. I'm the friend of the girl who does the sexy dance." Yet she apparently conquered those nerves and wearing gold chains, aviators, and a bandana underneath her hat, Kotb brought the funk, indeed! She was so good, in fact, her Lip Sync Battle rival, Michael Strahan, couldn't help but dance along. Strahan lost to Kotb, who was understandably giddy about her win. "It was so fun to go head to head with Michael. We had a blast," she gushed. "I'm so excited, but I've got to tell you, getting this heavy metal belt—this Hulk Hogan friggin' belt—feels awesome."

Salt

Right from the get go, it was clear that despite years of performing by each other's side, Salt-N-Pepa were pretty comfortable taking each other on. Sandra “Pepa” Deton worked the stage in a high-powered rendition to of Katy Perry's "Firework” and her leggy performance had the audience going "Oh, oh, oh" as she sashayed across the stage with her sassy spin on Perry's tune. Although Cheryl “Salt” James gave her a battle, Pepa ultimately won after her killer second performance. Wearing a full disco regalia, which included an afro and sequined jumpsuit, Pepa channeled her disco diva with Gloria Gaynor's "I Will Survive." The glammed-up rapper got so into her performance that she even kicked off her shoes and from there really upped the theatrics of the dance-floor staple. At the end of the song, Pepa made a shout out to all the women watching, "You know this is just for all the survivors out there, all the women who have been through some 'ish."

John Krasinski

Photo via TV Guide

Former star of NBC’s The Office, John Krasinski challenged a real musical theater diva to one of the most outrageous battles in the first season. In his showdown against Pitch Perfect’s Anna Kendrick, Krasinski proved he had the skills, or rather the legs, to win the competition. Performing to Tina Turner's "Proud Mary", Krasinski ripped off his business suit to reveal a short, silver fringed dress that would make any man (or woman) blush. Although the dress and his sexy moves left little to the imagination, it was still left to the audience to decide if Krasinski's dress stunt was enough to beat Kendrick. Ultimately, it wasn’t and Kendrick walked away victorious.

Emily Blunt

The British actress rolled up her sleeves and got serious about her performance against Anne Hathaway. Blunt, whose musical number was a Janis Joplin hit, tried on many pairs of sunglasses in an attempt to channel her inner rock star in preparation for her performance. She must have picked the right pair of shades because she completely immersed herself in the performance as a fur coat-wearing Janis Joplin. LL Cool J even admitted that, "I feel like I was at the Woodstock after-party.” However, it was Blunt’s performance to Blackstreet and Dr. Dre's “No Diggity,” which cinched the win for her. Blunt ended up stealing the show with her charm and that prompted Hathaway to re-enact the infamous Kanye West VMA speech and take the microphone away from her.

Chrissy Teigen

Although supermodel and Twitter/Instagram queen Chrissy Teigen isn’t technically a co-host of the show, her official title is “colorful commentator”, she may as well be. With her off-the-wall antics and a fiery personality, this brainy and fun beauty is the star of every show no matter what A-list celebrity is onstage. “Everything about it was really fun, and it was such a surprise for me every single day. I really truly loved it. I miss doing it now.” While Teigen is the one that brings out a giant pro-wrestling-style gold belt when the champion is selected, she deserves to wear the belt because she is the ultimate winner every episode.

Kaley Cuoco

We may be used to seeing her as Penny – the laid back girl next door on The Big Bang Theory, but Kaley Cuoco’s performance showed off a whole new side of the actress. Dressed in nothing but tiny shorts and a simple black Calvin Klein sports bra, accented by a plaid shirt around her waist and gold adornments around her neck, Kaley took to the stage to show off her booty shaking moves (and flawless muscle definition) to Ludacris’ ‘Move Bitch’.

Her sexy segment was hotter to watch than her competitor’s. Josh Gad performed his cover of ‘I Touch Myself’ whilst dressed up as Presidential candidate Donald Trump. When compared to her on-screen persona by host Chrissy Teigen, Kaley simply replied ‘Penny’s not here, baby.’

Jenna Dewan-Tatum

Jenna Dewan Tatum took her performance to a new level of sexiness with her rendition of Ginuwine’s track ‘Pony’. During her performance, Jenna took on the role of her husband Channing Tatum’s character from his movie Magic Mike XXL, dressing in tomboy attire and a fake six pack of abs.

Bringing a touch of femininity to her get-up, her routine began with simple moves that showed off her curves, yet soon escalated to a steamy lap dance - featuring plenty of grinding against her man. Admirably, all this was pulled all this off without tripping on a single lyric. Although some may see her dance background as unfair advantage, Dewan Tatum triumphed over her husband’s rendition of ‘Run the World’ by Beyoncé, despite him bringing Queen B herself on stage for the number.

Victoria Justice

Photo via Entertainment Weekly

Victoria Justice’s performance of ‘Hot in Herre’ by Nelly is a far cry from her innocent days of appearing on Nickelodeon shows Zoey 101 and Victorious. Wearing a printed top and figure hugging leather pants, Justice looked the ‘hot’ part as she lip synced perfectly to the track. Her performance was accompanied with sexy moves that would certainly be on the flirtatious side if pulled off at a club.

Those with an eye for detail may have noticed the band aid Justice wore on her cheek – a reflection of Nelly’s trademark style. Despite her fabulous look, she sadly lost out on the winning spot as her opponent Gregg Sulkin seduced the audience by tearing off his shirt and dancing to the hit song ‘Milkshake’ by Kelis.

Pepa

Otherwise known as Cheryl James, ‘Salt’ from Salt N Pepa went head to head with Pepa when the two took part in the show. Starting with ‘Since U Been Gone’ to counter her opponent’s ‘Firework’, Salt later got down to a popping rendition of ‘It’s Tricky’ by RUN-DMC. Wearing a retro blue sweat suit, sneakers, sleekly styled hair and oversized gold chain, Salt had the hip hop look down to a tee, looking great in the process as she proved her moves are still on point. Although Pepa ultimately won the contest with her glittering performance of Gloria Gaynor’s ‘I Will Survive’, there’s absolutely no reason Salt’s performances should be overlooked. Even today, the two are still a talented duo with plenty of stage presence to go around.

Anna Kendrick

Anna Kendrick’s performance started the second she made her entrance, getting straight down to a high energy dance routine full of hot moves to Jennifer Lopez’s hit ‘Booty’. While we’ve seen Kendrick in dancing roles in the past, such as Becca in Pitch Perfect and its sequel, she wasn’t afraid to show off some of her sexiest moves yet before being joined on stage by J-Lo herself towards the end of her performance – treating the audience to double the booty action.

Earlier in the show, Kendrick had performed ‘Steal My Girl’ by One Direction, accompanied by a gushing slideshow of her opponent John Krasinski’s wife, Emily Blunt. Considering her flawless delivery of both humor and hotness, it’s hardly a shocker that Anna Kendrick beat Krasinski 2 – 0.

Gigi Hadid

International supermodel sensation Gigi Hadid is no stranger to sexy photoshoots, videos and runway antics, so it comes as no surprise that her Lip Sync Battle performance was just as hot and exciting.

Performing in a black, skin-tight, PVC cat suit, Hadid wasn’t afraid to show off her cleavage and figure on stage as she covered the 90s hit ‘Larger than Life’ by the Backstreet Boys who joined her on stage to dance to the track.

At one point during her performance, Hadid charmed audience members by forming a heart shape with her hands. Strutting across the stage in killer boots, she went on to show off her skilled dance moves. Afterwards, she gushed that it was ‘one of the best nights of my entire life’.

Hadid’s performance easily outweighed that of her opponent, Tyler Posey, resulting in her victory.

Nina Dobrev

Nina Dobrev, former star of The Vampire Diaries hit the stage in full Florida Gators football gear as she performed her lip sync along to ‘Cheerleader’ by Omi. While she certainly looked great in the get-up, it was only in her second performance of the night that Dobrev really turned up the heat.

During her slow, sultry performance to Marvin Gaye’s ‘Let’s Get it On’ wearing sexy thigh high boots and a fitted leather jacket, Dobrev showed off her figure before seductively grinding and lowering herself on to her waiting opponent Tim Tebow, wrapping her legs around him in the process. While her heated performance was no disappointment, Tebow was crowned champion as a result of his takes on ‘Take your Time’ and ‘Eye of the Tiger’.

Eva Longoria

Wearing tight "apple bottom jeans" and "boots with the fur" in true Flo Rida style, Eva Longoria lip synced and rapped flawlessly to ‘Low’ for her first round routine.

Her performance featured plenty of hot booty popping, shaking and shimmying as she pulled off the track. But it was her even sexier performance to ‘Anaconda’ by Nicki Minaj during the second round that won her the competition.

Wearing tiny pink short-shorts and a white tank top accentuated by a bling-tastic gold chain, Longoria twerked and broke it down to the hit song, backed up by talented dancers just like in the original video to Anaconda. After creating the perfect composition of fun and flirty throughout both performances, it’s no wonder she was awarded first place.

Iggy Azalea

Although she may have been under fire for her controversial actions and statements in the past, no-one can deny Iggy Azalea has a strong stage presence. She began the night with a rendition of ‘Teenage Dirtbag’ by Wheatus, while her opponent (and real life on-off fiancé) Nick Young dedicated ‘Sugar’ to her in response. But when it came to the second round, Azalea opted for the slow jam ‘Freak Me’, accompanied by appropriately ‘freaky’ moves aimed at her love interest.

With a routine that included twerking, humping and gyrating against the floor, Azalea impressed the audience with her seductive tribute to the R&B track by Silk. While Young gave it a great shot, his lip syncing was a little off and Azalea won the contest hands down.

Hayden Panettiere

Photo via Entertainment Weekly

Lady Marmalade and its original video from Moulin Rouge has long been known as one of the sexiest of all time and Hayden Panettiere’s version on Lip Sync Battle was no exception. Dressed up in a full tribute to Christina Aguilera’s character – complete with a long blonde wig, red thigh high boots and tiny black shorts, the Nashville actress took center stage to perform alongside backup dancers dressed in lingerie.

As Panettiere danced and lip synced, Christina herself appeared from behind a large feather fan to complete the sexy performance as a duet. Earlier in the evening, she had energetically performed the 1978 track ‘One Way or Another’ by Blondie. Although definitely talented and a little raunchy during both rounds, Panettiere unfortunately lost to her competitor Eva Longoria.

Terry Crews

Fans of Terry Crews (or his body) were in for a treat during his performance. During round one, he danced energetically, showing off his muscle definition in jeans and a fitted black shirt. But it was his second performance that began to heat things up. As an homage to his role in White Chicks in which he first performed the song, Crews lip synced along to A Thousand Miles by Vanessa Carlton wearing a shiny white suit and nothing underneath.

As he stood up to recite the chorus, he took off the jacket and threw it seamlessly to a backup dancer, revealing his body for the audience to see. His abs clearly stole the show, as Crews was announced the winner over his competitor Mike Tyson.

Alison Brie

Photo via Entertainment Weekly

Starting off the night with a hot and lively performance of the classic 90s track ‘Shoop’ by Salt n Pepa, exhibiting her own sexiness with the line ‘that sounds sexy’, Alison Brie of Bojack Horseman and Community fame later went on to perform ‘Bang Bang’ by Jessie J, Nicki Minaj and Ariana Grande. In a performance that featured three different looks and a large fake gun prop, Brie transformed from suited and sleek to sexy and flirtatious in a short suspender suit and monochrome hat as her outer layers were torn off in record time by her backup dancers. Her performances obviously impressed the audience, as she deservingly beat her Lego movie co-star Will Arnett, who’d settled on performing a rather predictable ‘Everything is Awesome’.
