Last year when Tom Holland made his debut as the red-suited Spider-Man he took the world by storm due to his silly antics in Captain America: Civil War. Working with Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.), and surviving the goofy antics of his Aunt May (Marisa Tomey); we were given a look at the future Spider-verse in a matter of minutes.

For a bit there could have been dashed hope that Tom Holland's Spider-Man would have only played minor roles in the larger scheme of things. Mostly due to the fact it almost seems as if Tom Holland's version of Spidey may not be suited for the more adult-centered super-hero series. This fundamental thought was backed by Sony's announcement that they would do two spin-off's from the Spider-Man: Homecoming movie, which will set Tom Hollands adventures as Marvels Spider-Man into motion.

There's Going to be Quite a Bit of Tom Holland and Spider-Man

With the two spin-offs sent into motion, fans could easily prepare to see Venom move into his own film followed by, Silver & Black in future movies. Luckily for us, we will get to see these two movies play a larger role according to an interview that took place between Sony's very own director of Spider-Man: Homecoming's Amy Pascal and FilmStarts. In the interview she can be quoted saying:

"Both movies will now take place in the world that we are creating for Peter Parker. They'll be adjuncts to it, they may be different locations, but it will still all be in the same world. And they will be connected to each other as well."

There Will be Quite a bit of Kevin Feige's Chemistry Involved in the Future Spider-Man Movies

She continued on to confirm that Peter Parker would also make an appearance in the upcoming spin-offs as Spider-Man once more. Because of she confirmed Kevin Feige would have more room to work on with The Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Spider-Man as we prepare for Phase 4.

Luckily for us, Amy also confirmed a bit more about what we can hope to see with the future of the MCU in time regarding Kevin Feige's work.

"There's always a chance. I think one of the things that Kevin has done with Marvel that's so brilliant, is bringing the fans along, and making each movie feel like a chapter in a book. That you have to read that chapter in order to go forward. And I think the investment that fans get to feel in being part of a larger story and understanding what's happening, is something that I know Sony would want to emulate."

Even with her statements, it seems that Spider-Man himself could become a centrifuge to the MCU movies once Phase 4 gets underway shortly after The Avengers: Infinity War movies release. This opens up for movies such as Spider-Man: The Sinister Six, The Wasp, and even movies such as Carnage.

Venom, Black Cat, and even Carnage Could Expand into the Marvel Universe as Prime Time Characters

While many of us may be excited as ever to see Spider-Man's cohort and arch-nemesis playing a huge role, there's no doubt that there will be more want to see these characters screen. With Venom confirmed to become a film in the future, there's also a chance we could very well see Tom Holland take on one of the hardest adventures in Spider-Man's super-hero career with the Black Suit Spider-Man. With Felicia Hardy dawning the Black Cat suit and persona, there's no doubt that there will be some fist flying, claw swiping action, and adventure.

Due to Venom and Black Cats films, there's no doubt that more could come from Venom due to the Symbiotic outbreak being apart of what caused him to come about, and what caused the other ones such as Carnage. There's a lot in question in the means of what enemies we will see, what heroes he (Peter Parker) will work with, and how he will develop as a character in the future of the MCU. Now for us to wait and see what kind of wall climbing, web throwing amusement we will see.
