Picture the scene, you're a high school student living in the MCU. The Avengers are your heroes and constantly making the news all over the world because of their heroic exploits. You've just finished your English class and you walk over to your locker, after traversing the hallway and avoiding the school bullies, you collect your gear and walk to your next class. You sit down waiting for another thrilling lesson, and then your teacher wheels in the TV.

Suddenly, the excitement in the class builds. "What are we watching?" you all wonder, and then you're met with this:

"Technically, the guy's a war criminal now, but we're required by the state to play this so..."

Rappin' with Cap

Okay, enough fun and games. While it was unfortunate that #CaptainAmerica's cameo in Spider-Man: Homecoming was spoiled in the trailers, they certainly didn't disappoint. Let's be honest, before the events of #CaptainAmericaCivilWar, Cap was revered as the greatest American hero, so it makes perfect sense that the US Government would recruit the Star Spangled Avenger to provide advice to the youth of America in the #MCU.

In the film, Cap's videos included an explanation of the Captain America fitness challenge, advice for students who got detention and, of course, the legendary "patience" discussion. It seems that these were just the tip of the iceberg, and there were a number of other informative videos that didn't make the final cut.

So, which topics does Cap dive into in the deleted scenes?

The first is titled "Safety First" and looks at how to safely celebrate the Fourth of July. Legal fireworks are a must (there's nothing patriotic about illegal fireworks, kids), and of course if you happen to catch alight during the celebrations you should stop, drop and roll.

The next, "Food for Thought" details the importance of a balanced diet. It doesn't just take a secret government Super-Soldier serum (try saying that quickly) to be healthy and have strong bones, a proper diet can go a long way towards this. He then points out the food pyramid to help with arranging your healthy diet.

"Brain Power" goes into the importance of stimulating your mind. One of a soldier's greatest weapons is math, apparently (though this is met with a slightly skeptical nod from the Avenger). He then professes that he's seen some pretty exciting things in his time as a superhero, but nothing is more exciting than reading (again, apparently).

The best is saved for last and deals with "Your Changing Body". Now, Captain America knows a thing or two about body transformation; he's a totally different man to the 90-pound weakling we met at the beginning of Captain America: The First Avenger. It's clear to see that he's obviously thrilled to be giving the lecture on human reproduction (possibly due to his lack of experience in the subject).

Who could forget about the menace that is tooth decay, or the insidious force of head lice? It's clear that Cap is becoming quite fed up of these videos at this point, which only adds to the humour, but like the true soldier he is, he carries on.

Anybody who waited until the end of the credits of Spider-Man: Homecoming expecting a tease for #InfinityWar might have been disappointed (especially because we're still waiting for it), but it was still a fun tease from #Marvel. Pretty much the only other person who could have delivered these public service announcements would have been Stan Lee, but instead, we were treated to a slightly uncomfortable Captain America — and the results were certainly amusing.
