A number of women have come forward.

The 95-year-old comic legend and cameo star of pretty much every Marvel movie made over the past decade or so has been accused of groping and sexually harassing the nurses who care for him at his home in Los Angeles.

The Daily Mail reports that the company that provides the nursing services to Stan Lee is in a legal dispute with the Marvel creator after claims that he asked the nurses to "pleasure" him in his bedroom and to be given oral sex in the shower.

The Mail reports that a source told them: "He doesn't seem to care what people think of him, he's lost his filter. There has been a stream of young nurses coming to his house in West Hollywood and he has been sexually harassing them. He finds it funny."

"He walks around naked and is vulgar towards the women, he asks them for oral sex in the shower and wants to be pleasured in his bedroom. He uses the word p***y and f**k in their presence."

The source also added that he is allegedly "very handsy, and has groped some of the women, it's unacceptable behaviour, especially from an icon like Stan."

A rep for the company that provides the nursing services confirmed that a number of their staff have made complaints against the legend, and the owner of the company has spoken to Lee directly, but the company itself stopped working for him at the end of 2016.

His lawyer released a statement saying; "Mr. Lee categorically denies these false and despicable allegations and he fully intends to fight to protect his stellar good name and impeccable character. We are not aware of anyone filing a civil action or reporting these issues to the police, which for any genuine claim would be the more appropriate way for it to be handled. Instead, Mr. Lee has received demands to pay money and threats that if he does not do so, the accuser will go to the media. Mr. Lee will not be extorted or blackmailed, and will pay no money to anyone because he has done nothing wrong."

Interestingly, a rep for the new nursing company has released their own statement, saying that Lee has been "polite, kind, and respectful" to their staff.

The previous nursing company, which has staff making the accusations, has not been named.

The Mail also reports that the CEO of Stan Lee's company, 'POW! Entertainment, has said that; "At POW! Entertainment it's our policy to not comment on personal issues relating to Stan Lee and his life."

A new nursing company has since stepped in to care for Lee at his exclusive home in the exclusive Hollywood Hills' Bird Streets area.

Stan Lee's home, which is believed to be valued at around $20 million, is a clear example of the man's success over what is nearly an 80 year career in the comic book business.

Others have jumped to Stan Lee's defence. Another source is quoted by the Daily Mail as saying that "Stan is 95 years old, and has had an excellent reputation throughout his career. People think, because of Stan's age, he's an easy target and can be forced into giving them money. I don't believe these allegations... Stan is being taken advantage of."

Stan Lee has had a long and successful career, taking Marvel comics from a small publisher to one of the biggest companies in the business. Now a multi-millionaire with legions of fans around the world, these accusations are sure to shock many of his adoring fans.

Despite his advanced age, Stan Lee is still very active on the convention circuit and can still be seen regularly on the big screen in his much-loved cameos in all of Marvel Studios' movies. The accusations are sure to divide fans, especially in the current climate, but it is important to consider the potential victims in this.

Other than the official statement released by Lee's legal team, no further comment has been made at this time.
