"Dada" is the debut film of director Ganesh K Babu and it revolves around an unexpected pregnancy. The film is enjoyable thanks to its heartfelt storytelling and clever writing. For example, in a typical confrontation scene between the lead characters, Ganesh brings a touch of reality to the sequence by showing the heroine's voice shake with exhaustion after hours of crying, while the hero is too angry to pay attention. One line, "Nee solradhu enakku puriyala; niruthi ozhunga sollu!" adds a relatable and grounded aspect to the conversation, which is present throughout the film.
Raangi - A Movie Review
"Raangi: A Female-Centric Action Film" - After a 7-year hiatus, director M. Saravanan returns to the film industry with a female-led action film. The movie takes the relatable "girl-next-door" character of Trisha and transforms her into a fearless, gutsy woman. This innovative approach is something to be celebrated, and Trisha's convincing performance in the lead role is a treat for fans.
Villainess Review: Patty Garner (10 Year Reunion)
You know, I really love these Lifetime movies that centered on a group of women getting together. One reason is because they usually involve at least one known actress who I'm a fan of, but there's also the obvious reason: one of them turns out to be evil. It's a case that has been seen so many times on Lifetime, and the 2016 thriller, 10 Year Reunion.

Valentine’s Day compels many of us to bemoan not just the sorry state of our love lives but also the even sorrier state of the romantic comedy, a genre given a recent rebirth that’s still in need of a jolt back to life. After a distinct dearth, the streamer-led avalanche of 90-minute meet-cutes has certainly been consistent but it’s also been consistently underwhelming, inoffensively so perhaps but also increasingly aggravating to those of us who fondly remember the best of them. Even without expecting a total wheel reinvention, there’s a laziness that niggles – it’s as if these movies are being pumped out by writers and directors who are half-asleep, their focus elsewhere.

It's ride or die with the Fast and Furious movies, each one getting faster and faster, and the upcoming Fast X (2023) is no different. It's already amazing, and it gives us almost a four-minute trailer to officially introduce just how outrageous and high-octane this first two-part finale is going to be. Rita Moreno, Jason Momoa, and Brie Larson appear as new characters, each with a different connection to the larger story. If anything, this series loves the chapter of Vin Diesel's curly "family" more than the retcon and there is one important thing that brings us back to the part that changed the future of this series. The group will not be reduced, although hints of danger may drop the returning faces in the final. Racing is where this long-running franchise began, and much of it promises it hasn't forgotten.

Taye Diggs played the character Harper Stewart in The Best Man(1999), The Best Man Holiday (2013) and Peacock's The Best Man: The Final Chapters(2022). His character was very… controversial to say the least and it would be covered in another of my upcoming The Best Man articles. However, this article is focusing on Harper's forehead-kissing legacy.
