My Review of "A Goofy Movie"
A Goofy Movie is an animated Disney movie that came out back in 1995. This movie was probably geared towards me when it first came out but I never went out to watch it. Decades have passed and countless friends have told me to watch it and I still never got to it. The pandemic hit and I still didn't watch it. Finally in 2023 I told myself I would sit down and finally watch this movie. How bad could it be?

It’s Halloween! Garfield is taking over the town and your candy. Based on the comics by Jim Davis, Garfield’s Halloween Adventure is a 1985 television special. Garfield and Odie dress in their best costumes and go trick-or-treating. While out on their nightly adventures, they are caught in a ghostly secret that could ruin their evening.

Thе novеl takеs placе on a singlе day in London, Junе 1923, and follows thе livеs of sеvеral charactеrs, including Clarissa Dalloway, an uppеr-class housеwifе, and Sеptimus Warrеn Smith, a mеntally ill war vеtеran.
Libby LaraibPublished 6 months ago in GeeksMy Review of "Cooties"
Cooties is a horror movie that came out back in 2014. It has some notable stars in it but make no mistake this is a very low budget movie. Fortunately, this movie doesn't take itself too seriously and it does make fun of itself sometimes.
Brian AnonymousPublished 6 months ago in GeeksYoung Sherlock Holmes
I remember seeing Young Sherlock Holmes as a child, me and Mom being the only two people sitting in an empty theater in the freezing cold. The theater manager, because there were only two patrons, obviously didn't think it advisable or worthy to turn the heat on. I suppose that made sense to him. It added something to the film, even, as the thing takes place in a freezing London winter in Victorian times.
Anatomy of a Scene – ‘The NZT-48 Pill’
"Worth the risk?...What would you do?" How often have you thought about the possibility of taking one pill per each day that would maximize your brain’s full potential? With the movie ‘Limitless’ with Bradley Cooper and Robert DeNiro, this film poses the answer in the form of ‘NZT-48’, which can allow you to access everything you’ve read, heard, and learned without any true effort. This kind of wonder drug is purely fictional but many people in real life seek this kind of legal short cut nowadays whether it’s to focus, to lose weight, to improve memory, or to retain more information. In the film’s early scenes such as the one that introduce this magic pill’s effects, we get to see what kind of effects NZT-48 has on Eddie Moura, the main character.
My Review of "Miss Congeniality"
Miss Congeniality is a fish out of water movie that came out back in 2000. A lot has changed since then. Our viewpoint with women and feminism has changed as long as work atmosphere. That's why it's kind of weird to see how wildly inappropriate a lot of this movie is. To be fair some of this stuff was very inappropriate back in the day but it's just much more apparent now than back then.
Brian AnonymousPublished 6 months ago in GeeksMy Review of "From Dusk Till Dawn (1996)"
From Dusk Till Dawn (1996) was a horror classic for me when it first came out. I absolutely loved it but I was a teenage boy back then and now as an older man I have to reevaluate if it really was as good as I remembered it. This is one of those movies that I thought would stand the test of time but I was humbled after watching this. I definitely watched it with a little nostalgia but even the nostalgia couldn't make me love it like I used to.

Elemental is a movie that I have been looking forward to for a while. I thought the trailer looked really cute and honestly Pixar has yet to let me down. I know there was a lot of talk about the animation style when it was first released but I think it really fits the story that the movie is trying to tell.
Alexandrea CallaghanPublished 6 months ago in GeeksHaunting of Hill House
Okay so we know that I love scary movies and I watch a lot of them. But there has been this trend, specifically on Netflix lately of scary TV shows. None of which I have ever really gotten into. I just never sat down long enough to get through one of them. I would argue that this trend started with the release of the Haunting of Hill House. I remember living with girls at the time that absolutely loved it and I had only seen glimpses but never the whole show. Well we recently started watching it and I have to say I understand the fixation.
Alexandrea CallaghanPublished 6 months ago in GeeksGen V
Okay so last week in Gen V we dealt with our main characters being mind wiped and not knowing what was going on. They also just found out that Cate is the one behind their memory lapses. Andre is very hurt (as he should be) and Cate seems to have switched sides so that she stands with her friends now.

I feel like I’ve been watching these movies for 10 years trying to get to the first one. So we are about to rapid fire these last four. Keeping the chronology straight, or trying to, has been some batshit insane shit to try and do because absolutely nothing about these movies makes sense.
