Ms. Marvel
I have personally been looking forward to this show very much, and although I am disappointed by the change in her powers for the adaptation, I have hope. The lead actress is a perfect choice in not only appearance and personality but in knowledge. This girl really knows her comics and I am excited to see how that informs her portrayal of the character. So here we go with episode 1…

One of the biggest questions I get asked from MCU fans is what is a Nexus being? What does that mean? Nexus beings are a well known thing in the comics and it looks like this idea is going to become more prevalent in the MCU so I am here to clarify what a Nexus being actually is, their purpose and at least in the comics, who they are.

According to inital reports gathered from my secret basement dwells under Disney/Marvel’s HQ the show will be an extended 10-ep run instead of the normal six, BUT each episode will only be about 30 minutes long. We’re supposed to be getting it sometime in August, we’ll see.
Hapsetshut The PharaohPublished 2 years ago in GeeksMCU: If You Can Forgive These 10 Characters, You Should Be Able To Forgive The Scarlet Witch
WARNING! SPOILERS for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. After much speculation regarding the character's allegiance prior to the film's release, Wanda Maximoff, the Scarlet Witch emerged as the clear antagonist of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. She racks up a rather large body count in the film, killing many trainee Sorcerors during an assault on Kamar-Taj, as well as the Illuminati of universe 838, in her quest to travel to a world where she could be with her lost children.

Ms. Marvel
With the Ms. Marvel series about to drop, I thought that it would be a good time to drop a background article for those who don’t know who she is or what her background is.

1. New Thor A challenge with Thor as a character is, he's the actual god of Norse mythology, and Norse mythology has a stated end for the stories of their gods: Ragnarok. Thor is also the son of Odin, king of the Norse gods. And at some point he's supposed to marry the goddess Sif. In the 60 years that Thor has been a Marvel Comics character, Ragnarok has happened twice, he has taken Odin's place as rightful ruler of Asgard, and his relationship with Sif has been on hiatus for a long time. He has also had several changes in his human identity, ranging from Don Blake to none. What wasn't done was this, which is the basis of the next Thor film: making Thor a secondary character named Odinson and granting the name and identity of Thor to someone else, who for a while, is a mystery. Why did Thor lose his birthright? Who is the new Thor? How long will this last? All of these were questions that needed to be answered, and they were, in what was overall a good story.
Phoenix Entities
Now that I am more active on Tik Tok, I’ve had a lot of questions about the different Phoenix entities, and as they are a little too much to sum up in a 30 second to 1 minute video, I thought I would dedicate an article to explaining the separate forces in a little more depth.

The first full trailer for Thor: Love and Thunder is finally here. While we got just a brief shot in the film's first teaser, the new trailer gives us a much closer look at Jane Foster in her new role as the Mighty Thor, as well as the new character dynamics brewing between Jane and the original Thor.
Kristy AndersonPublished 2 years ago in GeeksMultiverse of Madness: 8 Marvel Characters Who Have Been Corrupted By The Darkhold In The Comics
After a long wait, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness has finally hit theatres. The film's key conflict stems from the fact that Wanda Maximoff, the Scarlet Witch, has become corrupted by the evil magical tome known as the Darkhold, and developed an obsession with reuniting with her lost children, with little regard for who might be hurt in the process.

So I’ve decided to take a time machine back to the beginning of superhero movies in order to see how time has treated them, first up is the original Fantastic Four film with a young, studly Chris Evans, the ever stunning Jessica Alba, the handsome and distinguished Ioan Gruffudd and the charming and charismatic Michael Chiklis. I remember loving this film when it first came out, of course I was 8 at the time and the scattered viewings in between then and now were enjoyable, though not done with an analytical eye. So here I go back to 2005 when Marvel’s first family hit the big screen;

So, it’s safe to say that the Marvel Cinematic Universe is about as mainstream as a franchise gets nowadays. With the influx of new Marvel fans, I’ve been thinking a lot about the movies and certain characters, especially because the newer fans have different perspectives than us who experienced a lot of the movies at their initial release. This blog post isn’t going to be some superiority thing or gatekeeping thing because I see more fans as an absolute win, rather I just want to analyze the MCU now that I’m older and (mostly) wiser.

Multiverse of Madness was a highly anticipated film for many reasons and so far the reviews have been very divisive, now we all know by now that I am a very opinionated person and I want to be very detailed in this review. This film had some really amazing moments and it was visually stunning, but the best scenes stuck out so much because they were put up against a backdrop of a messy plot, ill timed pacing and a lack of character development.
