Villainess Review: Marilyn Downey (Medium)
The second season of Medium had its share of twisted villainesses, and the episode, "Raising Cain," was definitely no exception. The episode began with Allison DuBois dreaming about a teenage boy (shown in a black-and-white documentary-type setting) set to shoot up his high school, and after Allison wakes up, she joins the investigation regarding the abduction of six-year-old Tyler Downey, as Lee Scanlon pointed Allison in the direction of the boy's parents: Marilyn and Paul. Marilyn voiced her apparent failure to prevent her son from being abducted, but meanwhile, we see a garbage bag at a nearby dump that appears to show some form of movement.

'The Golden Girls' Still Being Watched 30 Years After Finale
The finale of The Golden Girls aired 30 years ago. The finale ranked among the most-watched finales ever in the history of television. It might not seem like it has been that long ago because viewers can still watch the show through syndicated reruns. The theme song, Thank You for Being a Friend was appropriate because all four of the women were friends who lived together. They joked, laughed, and poked fun at one another.
Margaret MinnicksPublished 2 years ago in Geeks Dr. Who: Too Woke?
I remember as a kid and growing up viewing Dr. Who as a must-watch Saturday night event. The Doctor from the planet Gallifrey would battle various threats. Daleks, Cybermen, Sea-Devils, etc, the programme was pure escapism, adventure, and a little scary.

Marielle SabbagPublished 2 years ago in GeeksThe Exorcist Review
Good morning everyone. As I have to make a somewhat long clarification that is unrelated to the review itself, I will go straight to the point here. Today I will review one of the greatest and best known horror classics. The title says it all. The Exorcist has been known globally for decades, especially for its film adaptation, for being one of the most terrifying works within the genre; reaching testimonies of nightmares that did not allow their readers to sleep. Finally, and thanks to a book club on goodreads (that's the clarification) I decided to read it, since it had been in my library for a couple of years without being touched, and today here is his review. Although I saw the film many years ago, I barely have memories of it, except for the most commemorative scenes of it, I remembered practically nothing; he only knew that a little girl was possessed and that her physical appearance mutated into horrible things. It was practically a blind reading. So, let's get to it at once.
Little Women Review
“Little Women” is the story of four sisters told through the eyes of one of them, Jo, whose goal is to become a writer. Set against the backdrop of the Civil War, we witness Jo ( Saoirse Ronan ), Meg ( Emma Watson ), Beth ( Eliza Scanlen) and Amy ( Florence Pugh ) grow up into adults whose lives take very different paths.
Reviewing Sara Canning's Pair of Munchausen by Proxy Villainesses
I've watched my share of crime shows and thriller films, and I have also followed my share of true crime stories, and in all my years of doing so, the story that always astounds me involves the sinister case of Munchausen by Proxy. Munchausen by Proxy is a different form of the usual Munchausen Syndrome, as the latter usually involves using oneself for attention. In the case of MBP, the person uses others, and the case is often the same: the person brings harm to another person usually for attention.

Imagine the most ingenious and meticulous heist in history. A heist so clever that every possible scenario is considered in ways that will probably take your breath away. This is how we could try to define La Casa de Papel (2017), a Spanish series created by the producer and screenwriter of Vis a Vis (2015), Álex Pina, who produced one of the most watched television programs of the last year.

Majique MiMiPublished 2 years ago in GeeksDoctor Who: The Companion Chronicles: Bernice Summerfield and the Criminal Code Review
Bernice Summerfield remains, to this day, the most enduring Doctor Who companion who has never featured in the TV show. The famous space archaeologist with a complicated history with the Doctor (no, not that one!) has remained popular with Doctor Who fans since her inception thirty years ago, and, thanks to Lisa Bowerman's portrayal with Big Finish since 1998, she has gone on to develop an even greater following. Added to that, Lisa Bowerman has gone on to become the most prolific director of the Companion Chronicles range, directing a large number of varied titles. So, it was really only a matter of time before Benny would get her own Companion Chronicle, and "Bernice Summerfield and the Criminal Code" was the chance to get up close and personal with our favourite archaeologist. Unlike a lot of the Virgin New Adventures that defined this era, this story is light-hearted fun, albeit with a darker edge befitting the era this belongs to.
