Wentworth Prison
The worst villain I’ve ever seen in a book adaption on TV is Black Jack Randell (BJD). The episode starts with very ominous music as the credits show the episode title. This is when Jamie Fraser goes through his darkest moments. As he speaks to McQuarrie about last thoughts. As I watch this episode the fear in Jamie’s eyes shakes me to my core. As he struggles to fight off the redcoats you can see the fear he has for the hanging. Instead his fears turn into terrified when he sees Black Jack looking at him. Clearly he is having a panic attack while looking at the very man who flocked his back raw.

Back in 2001, Doctor Who spin-offs were quite the novelty. Up till that point, we'd only ever had a pilot episode for K9 & Company (which failed to generate a series) and Bernice Summerfield (a series which was, for licensing reasons, far removed from the Doctor Who universe). This was before the TV show was resurrected, so there was no Torchwood, no Sarah Jane Adventures, no Class, no Jago & Litefoot, not even any Gallifrey. So, the first Dalek Empire audio does hold an important place in Doctor Who history, as the first episode of the first ongoing, fully-fledged spin-off. And it remains, to this day, one of the high points of this great series. As a founding episode, it sets the template for everything to come with style, confidence and a whole lot of Dalek action.
Joseph A. MorrisonPublished 2 years ago in Geeks10 Voice Acting Performances That Should Make You Appreciate The Work Of Voice Actors
In the early days of animation, voice actors were woefully underappreciated, being paid very little, and sometimes not even credited for their work. For example, Adriana Caselotti, the voice of Snow White in Disney's very first full-length animated feature, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, was paid just $20 dollars a day for her work on the film, and did not even know she was working on a full-length feature until she was invited to the premiere. After Snow White, Caselotti struggled to secure other work, as Walt Disney did not want the 'illusion' of Snow White ruined.
Kristy AndersonPublished 2 years ago in GeeksMy favourite heroes and villains - pt1
What makes a watchable hero? What makes a compelling villain? Compelling writing is an important part, possibly the most important. But in the mediums of film and TV, you have the added factor of the actor. Previous roles can form bias, and whether it is film or TV, for me, plays a huge part.

Is it too late to change my opinion on Janet Jackson? I’m not talking about her singing nor her acting ability because I still believe,in my heart of hearts, that they’re both subpar.

"Why are you crying? You knew it was going to die" - Devilman Crybaby In the early 1970s Go Nagai, a manga author delivered a punch to the anime world. Entitled 'Devilman', it was a challenge to the super hero trope that was expounding in the west during that same time period. The manga thematically asks some questions like, what is it to be human? What is the culmination of man's hatred? Do the ends justify the means? Considered now by many to be a classic staple of early manga history. It painted the story with lines of edginess, emotion, and adult themes - certainly filling a hole that existed in the angst of that generation of readers.

Culture SlatePublished 2 years ago in Geeks Batwoman: Reviewing the Conclusion of the "Poison" Arc
The previous episode, "Meet Your Maker," ended with Poison Mary finally meeting the woman who created her, Pamela Isley, who used some of Mary's power to increase hers. The brief encounter would become a true alliance in the following episode, "Toxic," saw the Poisons entrap a prominent doctor in the vines, with Mary believing that her gift is being used to even the playing field and deliver justice--though, as we all know, that's what Pam is making her believe. As we learned in the previews last week, Pam had resurrected her plan from 10 years prior to destroy the Gotham Dam, with the added revelation that the dam was among the many causes of the contaminated water that killed Pam's brother as a child.
Clyde E. DawkinsPublished 2 years ago in GeeksTV Review: Hulu's 'Pam & Tommy' Fails to Justify its existence
When I told a friend that Hulu had made a series based on the stealing of the sex tape belonging to Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee her response was a puzzled, “Why?” That simple one word question feels appropriate even after you have watched three episodes of Pam & Tommy, Hulu’s miniseries on the Pam and Tommy sex tape that was the first video to fully break the internet, in the colloquial sense. Written and directed by Craig Gillespie, the director of the similarly salacious, I, Tonya, Pam & Tommy is intended to be an absurd comic true crime story but it lands somewhere in the uncanny valley between good and bad satire.
