The 10 Worst Netflix Original Shows

Netflix has made some amazing original creations... however, they have also made some really bad ones too.

1. 'Mr. Iglesias'

"A good-natured high school teacher working at his alma mater works with gifted but misfit and disinterested students." -IMDb
"Every bit the conventional multi-camera sitcom that 'Kotter' was. Take away the dating-app jokes, and the humour is, if anything, blander and more predictable, the jokes more obvious, the reaction shots more ubiquitous." - Mike Hale

2. 'Marseille'

"A tale of power, corruption and redemption set against the rich backdrop of the French port city of Marseille." -IMDb

Marseille has a depressingly low 33% Critic Score on Rotten Tomatoes.

3. 'Baby Ballroom'

"A documentary series going behind the scenes at the Zig Zag Dance Factory in Wolverhampton, England run by coaches Warren Bullock and Jane Bullock." -IMDb
"At first I really enjoyed this show. It was entertaining to watch children and their parents doing what they like and being supported by that," says alcelik-82799,"However, when I saw what was really going on, how parents were pushing their children, never being satisfied by what their children are doing. The children think that they only have dancing and are nothing else. It is just beyond stupid. The pressure and the idea that you are only good at what you are doing by winning trophies, it's just stupid. I don't have other words to describe this."

4. 'Between'

"After a mysterious disease kills every resident over 22 years old, survivors of a town must fend for themselves when the government quarantines them." -IMDb

The second lowest Critic Score I have seen on Rotten Tomatoes at 22%.

5. 'Trailer Park Boys: The Animated Series'

"Nova Scotia's favourite miscreants have always been super sketchy. Now, carrying on from the Season 12 finale, the boys have become complete cartoons." -IMDb

The problem with the cartoon version of Trailer Park Boys is the new ground for disturbing content including a tape worm, DIY surgery and a broken neck (but don't worry, he's still alive).

6. 'No Good Nick'

"A family finds their lives turned upside down when a young, street-smart grifter shows up on their doorstep, claiming to be a distant relative." -IMDb

I'm a little surprised it even scored this high with a critic score of 60% and an audience score of 58% on Rotten Tomatoes.

7. 'Flaked'

"A recovering alcoholic faces reality after a life changing accident in Venice Beach, California." -IMDb

Flaked received a 38% Critic Score on Rotten Tomatoes.

8. 'Fuller House'

"In a continuation of Full House (1987), D.J. Fuller is a mother of three young boys and is a recent widow. D.J.'s sister Stephanie, her best friend Kimmy and Kimmy's teenage daughter all move in to help raise her sons. The house is now a lot fuller." -IMDb

The Olsen twins made the right choice by having nothing to do with this show.

9. 'Richie Rich'

"Richie Rich is just a normal kid, except he has a trillion dollars. Following his overnight success, he moves his father and his sister into his newly built mansion. He also shares his success with his two best friends, Darcy and Murray."-IMDb

Richie Rich has a 43% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes.

10. 'Hemlock Grove'

"Secrets are just part of daily life in the small Pennsylvania town of Hemlock Grove, where the darkest evils hide in plain sight."-IMDb

Hemlock Grove received what might be a but too cruel of a 38% Critic Score on Rotten Tomatoes.

Hello. Nice to meet you! How are you? Hmm... this feels like a really one-sided conversation... why don't you follow me on social media so I can get to know you too?

Is something on the list not on Netflix?

Since these are all Netflix Originals, this is very strange that one of the titles on this list isn't on Netflix ... what I can say is that this list is based on Canadian Netflix. So, if you aren't using Canadian Netflix ... that might be why you don't get all these titles.

I started blogging about two years ago and my collection of blogs and articles is getting pretty impressive. I’ve taken online classes for writing and even some classes about the art of blogging itself. It would be really awesome if you join the adventure and maybe even help me think of what to write about next. If you would like to submit some feedback or ideas, you can always tweet me on Twitter.

Thank you for reading my article. Would it be okay if I ask another favour though? Would it be okay if you share this on your Facebook page or Twitter? If you can't share, there is a tiny little donate box at the bottom too. No pressure though, just thought I would mention.
