The CW's Planning a Crazy New Team Up Show: Here's How It Could Work

Instead of focusing on one new hero, the CW show will bring many heroes (and villains)— old and new.

Warning: SPOILERS.

As of one hour ago, Deadline reported the CW is eyeing a new show to join the Flarrowverse. Instead of focusing on one new hero, the show will bring many heroes (and villains) - old and new. Who would the show star? Well...

According to Deadline, Atom, Captain Cold, the former Black Canary, and Martin Stein would headline the all new show. Considering Martin Stein is only one half of Firestorm now, we could be seeing Robbie Amell waltz into a new show, if any of this is true. Unforunately, there is no news as to whether or not Katana will be joining, but here's hoping she is.

Hang on - Sara?!

Yeah - no.

I died a little when Sara fell off that building. I know a lot of people though she was whiny and bitchy, but I felt compelled to her storyline and her past was full of intrigue. If she's coming back in present day, and not flashbacks, then I'd love to see more. Now I bet you're wondering "How?!". Well, it all starts with Oliver killing Ra's al Ghul.

Ra's al Ghul - RIP?

I made a post a while back about Ra's al Ghul going down, and I think that's where they're going with this new show. Now follow with me, if Ra's al Ghul dies, and Oliver obviously denies the offer, then the next in line would be:

Nyssa al Ghul

I mean, she literally calls herself "Heir to the Demon". Heir to his estate, money, and oh yeah - freaking army. When Nyssa becomes leader, she obviously wants to use the power she now has for a good cause. Her one true love perhaps?

Sara comes back, with the Lazarus Pit.

We've seen the Lazarus Pit more than once now, and because we know it's not bringing Oliver back, it needs to bring someone. You can't let a story arc like that go to waste. So why not spend it on Sara?

But what about the others?

We've already seen Laurel and Quentin Lance feel pretty bad about the death of Sara, and now that Laurel's Black Canary, what would Sara do? With this awkward new team, you can't stay in any well known cities, otherwise the main heroes would take over. So could they get a new city to themselves?

That concludes my theory. Back to the show though, no title has been given, and Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg, and Marc Guggenheim are attached to the project. Their source also states that the show will introduce not one, not two, but three new DC characters to the small screen. As for the series schedule, it appears the show could get a straight-to-series pickup and air as early as next midseason (January 2015).

Update

Looks like our most interesting cast member, Caity Lotz, had something interesting to say about the new show.

I hope she means the show is happening (judging by her "We're backkkk") and not just "Oooh really? I hope it's true!"
