We're just a day away from the premiere of Episode 22, "Invincible" of "The Flash". And the episode is set to be stuffed to the brim with more meta-humans from Earth-2, arriving alongside Black Siren (Katie Cassidy). Episode 22, "Invincible" is the penultimate episode of Season 2 of "The Flash", and the episode is expected to be massive in scale. From an army of meta-humans arriving on Earth-1, to the unexpected return of some dead meta-humans of Earth-2, Episode 22 "Invincible" will likely be one of the most talked about episodes of "The Flash" this season.

Last week's episode of "Runaway Dinosaur" gave us a visual depiction of Barry Allen traversing through the Speed-Force nexus to catch the lightning which gave Barry Allen his speedster abilities in the first place. During his visit to the nexus of the Speed-Force, Barry was confronted with spectres of death, attempting to convince Barry of the truth, which would inevitably set him free, and it did. Once Barry Allen was able to cope with the loss he hadn't been able to face since he was a child(i.e. the death of his mother), Barry was able to catch the lightning in his hand, and return to his Earth.

In itself, that episode would have made an amazing season finale. The depiction of Barry Allen fully going through the transformation into The Flash was expertly portrayed on-screen, credits need to be given to Kevin Smith, whom directed the episode. Aside from Episode 21 "Runaway Dinosaur", the episode did great in setting up the massive conflict set to take place in Episode 22. And with Episode 22 "Invincible" setting the stage for a massive battle to take place between Team Flash and Team Zoom, it's only leading up to an even bigger confrontation between Hunter Zolomon a.k.a. Zoom and Barry Allen a.k.a. The Flash during the Season Two Finale of "The Flash". But for now, we need to focus on Episode 22 "Invincible", which is set to air tomorrow night. The Episode Synopsis for "Invincible" can be seen below.

Synopsis for Episode 22 "Invincible":

After Zoom (guest star Teddy Sears) unleashes an army of Earth-2 meta-humans on Central City, Barry (Grant Gustin) is shaken when he sees their leader is the Black Canary’s Earth-2 doppelganger, the Black Siren (guest star Katie Cassidy). Meanwhile, Wally (Keiynan Lonsdale) takes to the streets to help The Flash stop the meta-humans, which worries Joe (Jesse L. Martin). Iris (Candice Patton) and Henry (guest star John Wesley Shipp) are concerned about Barry taking on Zoom

We get a decent picture of what Episode 22 "Invincible" will hold for the titular heroes of Team Flash, from the synopsis provided. Along with the note of Wally West joining Barry Allen/The Flash on the streets to combat Zoom's army of meta-humans. That tidbit included in the synopsis for Episode 22 "Invincible" all but confirms Wally West exhibiting meta-human abilities and his intent to use them to help The Flash. Or Wally West could be assisting his father, Joe West in handling the meta-human criminals on the street. We won't know how Wally West fits into the episode until "Invincible" airs tomorrow. However, we do have some more promotional images to go over, which reveal something very shocking and unexpected to the television series, "The Flash" in Episode 22 "Invincible".

Reverb and Killer Frost are back??

Yes, they are indeed alive. But how? The image embedded above is from Episode 22 "Invincible", wherein Cisco Ramon a.k.a. Reverb of Earth-2 and Caitlin Snow a.k.a. Killer Frost are standing beside Black Siren (Katie Cassidy), whom is expected to lead Zoom's army of meta-humans. We haven't seen the Earth-2 doppelganger of Laurel Lance yet on "The Flash" but we now have a clear image of her standing alongside some villains of Earth-2 whom were thought to be dead. We saw Zoom execute Reverb and Killer Frost after Zoom captured the Caitlin Snow of Earth-1. But we can see them alive in the image embedded above. There's currently no explanation for this happening, but we can expect that it has to do with a previous element introduced on "The Flash".

Zoom went back in time again?

The only reasonable explanation for how and why Reverb and Killer Frost of Earth-2 are alive is that Hunter Zolomon a.k.a. Zoom went back in time to before he killed Reverb and Killer Frost and brought them back with him to the current timeline. In the situation that Zoom pulled them out of time before he himself killed them, and brought them back with him to the current day; that would erase the event of their murder from ever happening. But in that line of reasoning, wouldn't Zoom have gone back to retrieve more dead villains of Earth-2 to assist him? Anything is possible. Although, one piece of overlooked information may be the clue to explaining how Zoom resurrected Reverb and Killer Frost.

Meta-Humans capable of opening breaches between Earth-1 and Earth-2.

On Earth-1 and Earth-2, there's only one meta-human known to be capable of opening the breaches between the worlds, and that is Cisco Ramon. On Earth-1, he's a researcher at S.T.A.R. Labs who'll eventually become the superhero Vibe, but his Earth-2 counterpart is a maniacal villain whom goes by the moniker of Reverb. They are the only two individuals who've exhibited the ability to open the breaches between worlds, and with Reverb dying at the hands of Zoom in Episode 13 "Escape From Earth-2", that would only place Cisco Ramon a.k.a. Vibe as the only possible candidate to open the breaches between worlds. And from the ending scene of Episode 21 "Runaway Dinosaur", we can see that Zoom has managed to open the breaches to Earth-2 to bring forth his army of meta-humans. The scene is embedded below.

Within that scene, it's clear that Zoom has opened the breaches between Earth-1 and Earth-2 to bring forth his army, but the explanation as to how he's capable of this feat hasn't been revealed yet. There's also a shroud of mystery around how Hunter Zolomon a.k.a. Zoom is able to traverse from Earth-1 to Earth-2 without the assistance of Reverb or Vibe. But Zoom may not be able to after all.

Restating the known fact of Cisco Ramon being the only meta-human capable of opening the breaches between worlds, means that Cisco Ramon/Vibe opened the breaches for Zoom because the only other meta-human capable of the feat is Reverb, who is currently dead. Unless Reverb has been alive for an undisclosed period of time. With the necessity of Reverb being noted, Zoom required the assistance of Reverb in travelling from Earth to Earth. And the only way for Zoom to do that now, would be to resurrect Reverb or bring back a time remnant of Reverb back from the past, before Hunter Zolomon a.k.a. Zoom killed him. And in the likeliest of scenarios, Zoom went back in time to recover Reverb and Killer Frost to help him with his latest scheme to conquer Earth-1 just as he conquered Earth-2. In this set of circumstances, it draws up another intriguing question. What has happened to Earth-2 if Zoom has been interfering with the timeline? That question will likely be brought up again when Earth-2 is revisited to uncover the mystery behind who the man in the iron mask is.

How will the Resurrection of Reverb and Killer Frost be explained?

For now, we can deliberate and theorize on how Reverb and Killer Frost are still alive. They are currently known to be dead on "The Flash", as they died at the hands of Hunter Zolomon himself, which wouldn't convincingly place them at his side to reign down terror on Earth-1 unless the Killer Frost and Reverb that can be seen accompanying Black Siren, haven't been victim to Zoom ending their lives yet. There's so much to deliberate on if Hunter Zolomon is altering the timeline on Earth-2 by changing events of the past, including murdering his followers. But those events aren't likely to be prevalent on "The Flash" this season, although Earth-2 will likely be a focal point of Season Three of "The Flash" as we're set to uncover the true identity of man in the iron mask during the Season Two Finale, which will place the beginning of Season Three of "The Flash" on Earth-2.

Did Wally West (Keiynan Lonsdale) just reveal his Meta-human powers to Barry Allen in the image below?

Image from Episode 22 "Invincible".

The image embedded above is indeed from Episode 22 "Invincible". In the image, we can see Barry Allen a.k.a. The Flash in a car with Wally West (Keiynan Lonsdale). And it appears as though Wally West has just given The Flash some unexpected news. Is it possible that Wally West has been hiding his meta-human abilities the entire time, and is just now telling The Flash? Or did Wally West just speed in to save The Flash from Zoom? That could also be quite shocking to Barry Allen if he were at the mercy of Zoom, and Wally West sped in to save him. Or is it possible there's something more sinister to Wally West? Could Wally West be working for Zoom? Highly unlikely. The likeliest scenario depicted within this scene, probably has Wally West revealing the effect of the Particle Accelerator explosion, giving him meta-human abilities, similar to The Flash's. Even if Wally West did gain speedster abilities, he's untrained and has no idea how to use those abilities. There's a possibility that Wally West may offer to give up his speedster abilities in exchange for a speed-boost for Barry Allen a.k.a. The Flash. Although, there'd be major disappointment from fans wanting to see 'Kid Flash on screen.
