Just switch it back to the danish original voice.

I loved it!

I only started watching it because I really didn't have anything else to watch and was extremely bored for the first two minutes, then all of a sudden, the action started and I was hooked for the entire season. Unfortunately, there is only one season on Netflix so far, so I guess I will have to wait.

Before you start watching it, I do feel that I should warn you that the original show isn't in English. I tried watching it in and English Dub over, but it was just too brutal to watch the lips move differently than the sound. So I want to recommend to turn on the subtitles in English and simply switch over the audio back to its original danish. Trust me, it's way better this way. The actors in the show are very talented and hearing their voices make all that much more real.

The Acting: 9/10

The talented actors make the experience and the pain seem all too real. If a heartbreaking feeling mixed with the occasional happy relief is what you're looking for ... then this show has it!

The Lighting/Camera Work: 10/10

The camera work and choice of lighting is the best I have seen on Netflix in years. I'm starting to think that movies and shows from other countries have the most visually stunning ideas.

The Plot: 2/10

My biggest problem with the plot was that it was all too cliché. I've seen all before and knew where is was all going. However, the rest of the amazing qualities were able to make up for a terrible script.

It could also be kinda hard to follow sometimes since I wasn't always sure what was a flashback and what wasn't.

Character Development: 10/10

Not only do the protagonists grow up insanely quick and to become insanely strong, but we are also given a series of flashbacks to help understand the other characters. Having such dimensional characters really makes me feel like I am somehow in the group of survivors too.

Clothes/Wardrobe: 8/10

I didn't pay too much attention to the wardrobe the first time I watched the series, but looking back, there is a lot of detail put into it. I just wish some characters dressed more appropriately for an apocalypse.

The Feminism: 10/10

The strong female characters make me feel like I can do it. When the older sister thought quickly to get her and her brother out of that locked room, I felt like my gut was in my throat. It was simply just too impressive and it made me respect her right from the beginning.
