The Real Replacement For Hugh Jackman! 15 Actresses Who Could Play X-23

We know that Wolverine 3 will be Hugh Jackman's last turn as Wolverine, but does that mean the character will be written off or replaced with a new actor? Hugh Jackman says that it is inevitable that we will see the character re-cast but there has been no word from Fox on the subject.

So, what do we do if Wolverine is not re-cast? Well, recently in the comics the mantle of Wolverine has been taken over by his cloned daughter, X-23. How cool would it be if we were introduced to the daughter of Wolverine in future films, with her serving as the true replacement for Wolverine?

On this list I will name 15 actresses that could potentially play the role in future X-Men movies.

15. Adelaide Kane

Kane is best known for her role on the CW show Reign. She's a very menacing actress who has the dark look I would like to see X-23 have.

14. Nina Dobrev

Known for her role on Vampire Diaries, she can be intimidating while also conveying emotional distress.

13. Kasha Kropinski

Best known for her role in Hell On Wheels. I am aware she has red hair, but anyone can wear a wig or dye their hair. She is a relatively unknown actress, but she's very talented. She has a wide range and can play angery, emotional, and fearless with ease.

12. Sasha Grey

Yes, that Sasha Grey, the former adult film actress. I am not about judging someone for their past or their choice in how they make a living. All I know is that she actually is a capable actress and has the look for the role. Given her past, I doubt FOX would ever give her the opportunity though, which is unfortunate.

11. Emilia Clarke

She has become a star from her role on Game Of Thrones and is coming off a staring role in Terminator Genisys. While Genisys was not a successful outing for her, she is still talented enough to be a leading lady.

10. Amanda Seyfried

May have blonde hair, but can play damaged and pissed off with ease. Her acting ability is on and off with me; sometimes she's great and sometimes she's not, but I think she could do the role justice.

9. Bex Taylor-Klaus

She did great in the Scream TV show and has a bad-ass androgynous look that I think fits the character. Also in my opinion strikes a subtle resemblance to Jackman.

8. Dakota Johnson

She gets hated on for Her Fifty Shades Of Grey fame, but I believe she might be one of the more talented actresses in Hollywood. She did not get to show that through the terrible writing of Fifty Shades, but she has had many other credits added on since then and given stellar performances in all of them.

7. Mila Kunis

She has both the look and the star power. I think she has the dramatic potential to pull this character off. I would be very interested to see her take on a superhero role, especially one that requires so much anger.

6. Kaya Scodelario

Known for her role in the Maze Runner trilogy, she can play emotionally distressed and dramatic better than most young actresses.

5. Dakota Fanning

Young and very talented. Fanning is one big role away from becoming the superstar she's destined to be, and I think this role would be a great fit for her.

4. Michelle Tratchenberg

I'm sure you recognize her from childhood fame. Her career has been slow lately but she is still a solid actress. Anytime I think of a live-action X-23 though, I think of Tratchenberg. She has the best look out of anyone for this character.

3. Rooney Mara

She's woman who does goth and dramatic better than almost any actress in Hollywood. It was a toss up between her and the next two actresses on my list for the #1 spot.

Daisy Ridley

She was amazing in Star Wars: The Force Awakens and showed the world that she will end up becoming a star. I think she could take this character and turn it into a household name, as she is sure to be.

An unknown but very talented actress. She has a phenomenal acting range and is capable of going from a badass to the girl next door in the blink of an eye. She needs a big break to show off her talents and I think this could be it.
