Do you ever get that feeling as though you are surrounded by water? Every single direction that you look there is nothing but water.

Have you ever truly thought about the damage that water could do if the opportunity arose for a giant wave to come through? The truth is that water can be both friend or enemy and no it does not give you the choice of what it will decide to be. If you have a very deep fear of water, then I have a list of movies that you should not watch. This list is going to start off with Deep Impact. If you do not already fear water and the damage that it could truly do then, this movie just might make you change your mind. Imagine that you are going through your day to day list only to find out that a huge wave of water is coming straight for you. This would cast fear into any person's mind for their family and some people for their own life.

Coming in next is the movie The Perfect Storm that takes place out in the middle of the water on a boat. In the eye of the storm with the thought of how to make it home to your family. Picture the terror felt in the person in the storm or even their family. Now, place yourself as that person. Do you feel that fear sinking in yet?

The Impossible is next in line because this movie not only shows the fight of a families survival but the bravery of all that they go through to find each other. I do not know about you but I would not like to be swept away by water just rolling around on the inside of the wave until I am just no more.

Poseidon and The Titanic are both next because both take place on a ship that takes on the force of the water. The only difference is that in one some end up on a lifeboat while in the other they are in a fight for survival just to make it off the ship alive. The panic would take over even the bravest fave sooner or later.

The Wave is another movie with angry water heading in, wanting to swallow everything up to sink inside and live beneath. Another movie that I absolutely must mention is The Finest Hours. This movie may give you some very deep fears but it also shows great bravery.

All Is Lost with Robert Redford is next being that anyone would fear to be out by their self in the middle of the water all alone on a boat. To top it off, just paint the picture of a storm introducing itself before you ever make it home. Now, what if that storm was so angry that it decides to literally start rocking that boat? I am sure that by now your mind is taking on several pictures of the events that could take place next.

This is the list of movies that I would not recommend watching if you have a great fear of water. If you can get past that fear to see the bigger picture in the movie then that is a different story. Now that I have your mind filled with the thought of water, will you dare to try to get past the fear to watch the movies? Maybe it is a good idea to go with your gut feeling and stay clear of them. It is your choice but, I did give you a warning.
