The Truth About Some

I have stayed silent for so long, and it is impressive to think I haven't spoken out about these things until now. I suppose it is from the fear of being targeted by these people. They are the Templars of this world, seeking to control all in their wake without protest. And when others do protest this control, their actions, the protesters are silenced by any means necessary.

For example, they had a friend (now ex-friend) who was trying to run a convention and many meetups in the Boston area. They offered advice and opinions on how it should be done, but the advice was turned down. They proceeded to take over the events and ran the convention into the ground, all the while blaming the other person for it. They threatened the ex-friend on multiple occasions, when this other person continued refusing their terrible advice. They went so far as to harass the other person into fearing for their life. They tried to silence this victim, but it has since backfired in their face and now the victim is protected from one of these Templars in the form of a harassment order.

They have bullied and slandered many others in their wake, getting worse as years pass. They have caused their own friends pain and suffering, yelling at and insulting them. They spread lies and slander about good people with no proof of it, but support those who have done wrong where there is proof of the wrong doing.

They started rumors about a woman they had never met, going so far as to ban her from their events, even though they didn't have a reason for it. They just decided one day they didn't like her. They now allow her at their events, as if these things never happened.

They made a friend cry at their own picnic by stating her cosplay was terrible, but better than what she usually does. They screamed at trans gay fathers in front of their two year old son, because of false statements made by a minor well known for lying. they later admitted it was wrong and gave an apology to the couple. They know their behavior is wrong, but they still do terrible things like this.

The latest example being supporting a man banned from several conventions, including Anime Boston, for his vulgar behavior, as well as a photographer whose victims have finally found the courage to come forward. They say these two have done nothing wrong and support them. Yet several conventions have caught the man who is banned assaulting women and taking inappropriate videos of these girls, some of whom are underage. The photographer is well known for being inappropriate and also tends to be homo- and trans-phobic.

Their track record is abysmal at best, considering when they were in control of their ex-friend's event hosting business, they employed a known offender as well as someone who was known for being physically and sexually violent to the point of a restraining order. These people are the biggest danger, in that they support dangerous people, dangerous actions, and do whatever it takes to silence the victims, including their own.

I fear these people, and so should you. Maybe, in time, I will reveal their names. But I am sure anyone from the Boston area reading this already knows of whom I speak. That is all I will say on the matter for now, but be sure I will some day be brave enough, like so many of their victims, and actually say their names and stand up to them.
