I want to start this off by saying that I'm a huge, huge fan of The Walking Dead. Even before it was a television series, I was one of those geeks who snapped up every single comic book out there...or, in my case, did what I could to borrow my friends' copies. The more I got into the world of Rick Grimes and the survivors, the more I wanted to see what happened.

I loved reading up on the part where the survivors broke into a jail. Heck, I even developed a crush on Michonne - if it's actually possible to get a crush on a comic book character. What I'm saying is that, even among a sea of comics and movies discussing the zombie apocalypse, The Walking Dead is different. It's a category all its own, and that's why I think it's gotten so popular in the mainstream.

While I was on a fandom board, a friend of mine messaged me a link that he said I'd like. And, when I realized it was an auction dealing with The Walking Dead merch, I was elated. This is one of those moments where I could actually see Kirkman's autograph on the front of the comic itself. How cool is that?!

Check out my favorite picks from the auction site. It's pretty awesome to know that so many The Walking Dead goods could go for so cheap, right?
