These Behind The Scenes Videos Of 'You're Watching Disney Channel' Clips Are Beyond Awkward

Check out these cringe-worthy videos of former Disney Channel stars saying 'You're Watching Disney Channel.'

In the 2000s, there was one commercial spot (called a "bumper") that every kid that watched the #DisneyChannel knew, and that was the "Hi, I'm ____ and you're watching Disney Channel" spot, done by Disney Channel stars drawing the #MickeyMouse ears in the corner and looking happy as can be. It seems as though that would have been the easiest thing to do, right? I mean, it only lasted a few seconds and required just one line and some air-doodling.

Well, the behind-the-scenes videos of some of the shoots have been unearthed, and it turns out, shooting these weren't quite so easy. In fact, it appeared downright difficult at times. Here are some of your favorite stars of yesteryear being hilariously awkward or just plain fed up.

Hillary Duff (Lizzie McGuire, Cadet Kelly)

Honestly I think this may be the most painful one, with her appearing upset after having been there too long. She should be a little more familiar with wand work, though; she starred as a witch in Casper Meets Wendy when she was younger. But seriously, look at her pained smile — which you know she'd had to plaster on her face for hours — and tell me that's not awkward as hell.

  • Verdict: If this doesn't drive home the weirdness of being a Disney child star, nothing will.

Raven Symone (That's So Raven, Cheetah Girls)

Raven actually seemed a little more into it, changing her inflection a few times and doing different movements... until they told her for the 175th time that she had to do another take, then she was straight-up over it. But she had to add the "Cheetah Girls" to it, so that isn't too much of a surprise.

  • Verdict: No one throws a side-eye like Raven. No one.

Jake Thomas (Lizzie McGuire)

Jake Thomas, who played Lizzie's little brother, Matt, seems to be having the most fun with his commercial, even doing some baton twirls with the wand. Way to keep the energy up there, Jake! Still, it's just one line. One.

  • Verdict: GET IT TOGETHER, KID.

LaLaine (Lizzie McGuire, You Wish!)

LaLaine seemed to be getting the giggles a little during her shoot, but it helped to keep that permanent Disney smile on her face. Her mouse ears were pretty good, too.

  • Verdict: Somewhere, Hillary Duff is watching this off to the side like, 'You kidding me with this perfect mouse ears crap?'

Anneliese Van Der Pol (That's So Raven)

Just so you folks know, Anneliese will be returning to the That's So Raven spin-off... that being said, her mouse ears could probably use a little work. They just look like a bunch of squiggly lines!

  • Verdict: Girl, you're drawing mouse ears, not designing a roller coaster. What. are. you. doing?

Tia & Tamera Mowry (Sister Sister, Twitches)

Awesome job with the timing to be able to say it together, and the reactions Tamera gives are hilarious! These two were always fun in the different Disney shows they were in, and it is nice to see them have a bit of fun together here.

  • Verdict: You can tell they know it's one big joke. So good.

But no matter how awkward the behind the scenes were, the end product always ended up looking pretty great. Just goes to show you how much work goes into shooting even a minute of usable footage.
