If you thought we were done with 90s nostalgia pieces today...you were wrong. A staple of British Saturday night television, we watched the Muscle-Mary cast of ITV'S Gladiators take on the general public in tightly packed lycra. Since then many have faded into history and ditched the protein shakes, but we were astonished to learn that iconic Gladiator Rhino stars in Disney's latest animated comedy.

Mark Smith's real name isn't quite as catchy as his Gladiator counterpart 'Rhino', but the fact that he stars in the film isn't the best bit! Smith's character in Zootopia is himself actually a rhino called Officer McHorn. Starring Jason Bateman, Idris Elba and J.K Simmons, Zootopia follows an unlikely alliance between animal police officers as they uncover the mystery surrounding civilian disappearances. We thought that Shakira being cast in Disney's 55th animated outing was the weirdest bit of casting news, but finding Rhino on the IMDB list leaves us corrected.

Mark Rhino Smith (yes that really is his acting name) lists credits alongside such Hollywood hits as last year's Creed, Argo and Batman Begins. Whilst previous Gladiators stars have gone on to do the likes of opening their own gyms (Wolf), dating Katie Price (Ace), or even running a fishery (Lightning), we have to hand it to Mark Rhino Smith, he has the coolest post-Gladiators story.
