There are so many great movies coming out next year! Here is a comprehensive, concise list of which ones to look forward to and when they will be available to watch!

In no specific order..

10. X-Men: Dark Pheonix (UK Debut - 2nd November 2018)

This instalment of the X-Men series follows an X-Men team member discover her powers, which unfortunately get the best of her and turn her into evil, known as the Dark Pheonix. The X-Men team must then decide whether she is worth saving, or whether this will jeopardise the population to the extent where she is not worth saving.

Get ready to emerge yourself into the world of X-Men film, as this movie can guarantee seat-gripping action and adventure.

And there we have it. 10 films to look out for over the next year! There are a few others that didn't make the list, such as Pacific Rim: Uprising, Cruella and Ant Man and The Wasp, however, these are all going to be great films too!

1. Deadpool 2 (UK Debut: 1st June, 2018)

Deadpool 1 was a smash hit, with its comedy, clichéd movie scenes, badass fighting scenes and, of course, the hotness of Ryan Reynolds. In fact, in the first four days alone, it was estimated that the box office made a historic $152.2 million, and in its lifetime it has made over $700 million!

Deadpool 2 is extremely anticipated for these reasons—and more! With its second teaser trailer out now, Deadpool 2 is looking to bring a fresh new storyline with the same great cast. The release date has been unannounced, however we can look forward to at least one more trailer before the big day.

2. Avengers: Infinity War (UK Debut: 23rd April, 2018)

With a gigantic number of Marvel films coming out over the next five years, the new Avengers film most certainly has the most hype at present. The last two Avengers films have made us not only laugh, but have had us gripping onto our seats in suspension at one point or another. We have seen multiple different superheroes, all with their own fanbases.

Although the plot is not yet known, we can be certain that our screens will be visited by the likes of Black Widow, Spider-Man, Dr. Strange, Hulk, Iron Man and Thor. It is also rumoured that Valkyrie will be making an appearance too!

Judging by the last two films we can prepare ourselves for a rollercoaster of emotion and a great film experience entirely.

3. Solo: A Star Wars Story (UK Debut: 25th May, 2018)

Another classic film to add to the Star Wars list!

Since the Star Wars franchise was sold to Disney back in 2012 (for a whopping $4.05 billion), hopeful fans were promised another four films at the least before 2020. The new Star Wars film (The Last Jedi) will be released soon, however we are looking at the films for 2018.

The upcoming release features a plot based on the story of Han Solo. This is a solo (no pun intended!) story and will not feature the main Star Wars plot we will be left questioning after The Last Jedi is released.

4. Wreck-It-Ralph 2: Ralph Breaks the Internet (UK Debut: 30th November, 2018)

This loveable Disney film is a sequel to the first Wreck-It-Ralph where multiple video game characters were living inside an arcade machine. This film received a strong IMDB rating of 7.7/10, and the box office made a cool $49 million on their opening weekend, so you can see where the hype comes from.

The plot from this film is based upon a more modern method of gaming, the first film largely emphasised the 90s/early 00s, where most video games were played at an arcade, rather than sat at home playing on game consoles or the PC. The second film may follow a similar context, however we now know that the second plot is based on the appearance of a new WIFI router, leading to a new adventure for Ralph and Vanellope.

Overall, this seems incredibly promising.

5. Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald (UK Debut: 16th November, 2018)

The latest installment into the Harry Potter/Fantastic Beasts franchise has finally been announced! It is very much safe to say that this film is one of the most highly anticipated releases of 2018.

If you are unfamiliar with this film, or even with the Potter films, here is a quick recap: this film is a prequel to the multi-award winning series of Harry Potter, based in the 1920s.

The first film of the prequel (Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them) is based on many magical creatures in which the protagonist Newt is trying to take them back to their origins, he lands himself into a sticky situation which basically ends with the discovery of Grindelwald (he is the Voldemort of the series), however he is defeated and all is well at the end. The second film to the prequel is based in a time earlier than the 1920s, this film features 'Young Dumbeldore' played by Jude Law, which many people are excited about too!

6. Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (UK Debut: 8th June, 2018)

The Jurassic Park franchise is a classic, the films are widely recognised and are always highly anticipated.

With the latest installment having been released back in 2015, Jurassic Park/World fans have been waiting for the newest title to be announced, and now we have the answer. However, what we don't have is a plot for said film.

Despite this, we can be sure that this film will be of no disappointment, in-fact, there are no doubts at all over the quality of the newest film, as all other Jurassic Park films have acquired ratings of over 6.0/10 at the least, therefore we shall expect no different.

7. Fifty Shades: Freed (UK Debut: 9th February 2018)

The raunchy series originally written by author E.L. James is now having its last laugh (so we believe) as the latest installment of award winning franchise Fifty Shades of Grey is based on the third and final book of the series.

With the authors previous releases occurring on or around Valentine's Day, expect no different as this film will be released five days before that. Expect romance, drama and thrill as you embark on a fantasy like no other.

The plot is estimated to uphold the storyline of the third book (Freed).

8. Aquaman (UK Debut: 21st December, 2018)

It is recognised that there are many Marvel films which are being released over the next few years, however it's rival franchise, DC, is releasing the highly anticipated Aquaman film in 2018.

Due to the success of the recently released Justice League film which features Aquaman, producers have decided that Aquaman must now have a solo film, which many people around the globe are looking forward to.

It is understood that the plot will feature a young man discovering that he is the heir to the underwater throne, and so he will have to do what he needs to do to protect his people.

Although the film will be released over a year from now, it is still being released in 2018 and it will surely be worth the wait.

9. The Incredibles 2 (UK Debut: 13th July 2018)

Every Disney fan will remember The Incredibles, some longed for the second Incredibles as soon as the first one was released. It was a mutual thought in that this was not going to happen, the last thing we expected was for Disney to spontaneously announce the making and release of a second instalment back in 2014.

It's official release date is the 13th July, 2018, which is great news for Incredibles' fans as the former release date for this film was that of June 2019, a whole 11 months later than it's updated release!

Its plot follows Mr. Incredible and Jack-Jack (after discovering Jack-Jack did indeed have superpowers at the end of the first film, I had a slight suspicion that the second installment had to involve him as a main character in one way or another) are left alone together whilst Mrs. Incredible is out saving the world!

10. X-Men: Dark Phoenix (UK Debut: 2nd November, 2018)

This installment of the X-Men series follows an X-Men team member discovering her powers, which unfortunately get the best of her and turn her into evil, known as the Dark Phoenix. The X-Men team must then decide whether she is worth saving, or whether this will jeopardise the population to the extent where she is not worth saving.

Get ready to emerge yourself into the world of X-Men films, as this movie can guarantee seat-gripping action and adventure.

And there we have it. Ten films to look out for over the next year! There are a few others that didn't make the list, such as Pacific Rim: Uprising, Cruella and Ant Man and The Wasp, however, these are all going to be great films too!
