Top 11 Anime Villains

These are some of the best anime villains in no particular order!

Here are some of the nastiest villains anime has to offer. They aren't in order of how bad they are, because they are all bad in their own way.

Father— 'Fullmetal Alchemist'

He is the Homonculi leader of the minions running around making trouble for the Elric brothers. He also imitates the looks of the boys father, Hohenheim, but father isn't the daddy of Ed and Al, but the daddy of the seven deadly sins.

The reason he makes this list is because he commits genocide every so often to create Philosophers' Stones. He wants to become God, but he has no regard for human life and just wants to have power to have it.

Shou Tucker— 'Fullmetal Alchemist'

This guy at first seems like the nicest guy, but after he creates a chimera that has resemblance to his daughter and dog. Big brothers Ed and Al flip out. Shou created his first chimera from his wife and then created his second from his daughter and dog.

What kind of man would kill his family just to keep a job? That's just insane! He is a mentally unstable guy who needs to be locked up forever. Poor Nina.

His actions also have a profound effect on the boys and shows the audience how they view human life and how they want people to live and succeed, but not over a life. Which is good because we see how they are when they learn about how a philosophers stone is created and how they won't sacrifice people for their gain, until Tucker.

Naraku— 'Inuyasha'

I seriously hate this guy. He is also thwarting the plans of Inuyasha and Kagome. His origins are that he was a lowly man that was in love with Kikyo, but got friend-zoned and called upon the local demons who consumed his body.

Naraku has no remorse for anyone. Even his comrades, he will sacrifice anyone for his gain.

Madara Uchiha— 'Naruto'

We didn't know it, but Madara Uchiha was the real enemy the whole time of Naruto. There were definitely many people who tried to destroy the leaf village and kill Shinobi, but Madara was like the head honcho behind it all.

His story starts off innocent then leads to hate and the hate just destroys him enough to mutilate his body and commit the ultimate of taboos by bringing dead people back to life. He takes people away from their families and friends and makes their life seem fulfilling, but only for his gain. He is a very ruthless, terrible person (if you can call him that).

All for One— 'My Hero Academia'

In this show, we don't really see All for One at all. We are seeing the development of the young characters who are trying to become heroes. There is a league of villains who are trying to stop that from happening, but All for One is no where to be seen.

Especially since this league is run by his protege. But we get to see him in a couple episodes face off All Might and see just how formidable he is. All Might is the number one hero and All for One is his equal (also created All Might's powers) villain. They battle and we see that All Might is almost easily taken down.

He also has no value for others unless they are on his league. He cares about them, but it's in a weird way. He also captures heroes and takes their powers, rendering them in a vegetable state so he can use their powers and create abominations.

Frieza— 'Dragon Ball'

Frieza had a personal vendetta against the Saiyans so therefore he was always trying to murder Goku and his friends. He would always have too many soliloquies though... anime's man... But anyway, he was the worst. He would vaporize anyone that was in his way and had no emotion except for joy when killing others.

He had so much strength as well which was just as terrifying as his value for life. Genocide, annihilation, and pure carnage were Frieza's strengths.

Light— 'Death Note'

If you find a book that says "Death Note" and when you write someone's name in it they die would you keep it? I mean you could get rid of a lot of evil people in the world. For me I wouldn't be able to handle the power and I would leave it somewhere.

For Light, he gets consumed by that power. In the anime he starts off as a popular kid, who is bored with life, but he is a seemingly nice kid. When he gets the supernatural death book he becomes a murderous anti-hero.

It shows us that Light is actually an unfeeling sociopath who is a cult leader identified by another name, Kira. He goes on murderous rampages for criminals in showing that he will kill anyone who does wrong.

Is that justice?

Medusa— 'Soul Eater'

She's a witch that has infiltrated DWMA and gets into the good graces of all the main characters. She is very smart and cunning and takes these "friendships" for her gain and manipulation. She even tortures her own to make him go crazy to have him become a killer for her. Who would do that to their own son?

Blackbeard— 'One Piece'

He is the archenemy of the main character Luffy and including his crew. He wants to become the next Pirate King and goes about it by being greedy, treacherous, power-hungry, cunning, and deceptive. Although he is deceitful, he is merciful when it comes to his crew. He betrayed his previous crew the Whitebeards and took up a crew he trusts.

Aizen Sousuke— 'Bleach'

Why are all the bad guys the ones we like the most in the beginning? They have a super sob story or are just the nicest person? Aizen is that person. Super nice in the beginning and then the worst person EVER!

He betrays his own and won't hesitate to kill anyone in his past. He seems like a cool collected individual, but he is a nasty person willing to do anything to get what he wants.

Orochimaru— 'Naruto'

He is probably the strangest villain. He looks weird and he acts weird. He gives people part of his power so he can become them one day. Gross! He is very selfish and weird. His character is also very mysterious. We don't learn much about his childhood like most of the characters. We only see about his past with the Sanin and his experiments in the show that is.

He kind of sees the error of his ways and helps during the big war where we see Naruto and Sasuke come together. But then he has a son that he abandons? Confusing...
