1. "Friends on the Other Side" by Dr. Facilier

This song gives you the feels for the jazzy blues, which one will experience in New Orleans. This is a very upbeat villain song, which will get you up and moving! Do not give in to the happy-go-lucky music, the villain shadow follows him throughout the song. The beginning of the song where his shadow turns into a snake shows Dr. Facilier's real side. Then, when things start to change around the prince and Lawrence, the prince realizes his mistake.

2. "Hellfire" by Frollo

Beginning with the Gregorian chant makes this sound religious and holy, until we hear the words, "The sun caught in her raven hair is blazing in me out of all control." Yes, he is objectifying Esmeralda and he has a sexual desire for her. The music in the background we can recognize from the very beginning of the movie and we hear it again in the villain song. Frollo also attempts to burn down Paris to find her, so we can safely agree he is obsessed. The worst part is when he denies that this desire he feels is not his fault...yikes.

3. "My Lullaby" by Zira

This is when Zira finally sees her in to get pride rock back for the deceased Scar. Kovu wants to befriend Simba's daughter and of course Zira sees nothing but a chance for revenge. Lullaby's are usually meant to put a child to sleep, but in this case it is an awakening for Zira's power.

4. "Poor Unfortunate Souls" by Ursula

She convinces Ariel that she can help her become human. However, magic always comes with a price, in this case; Ariel's voice. Ursula however, does tell Ariel what happens when she can't pay the price and yet Ariel was gullible enough to believe her. It was the perfect trap for Ariel. The song is very fun to sing-a-long to and it makes you feel evil. We see her face light up once Ariel signs her voice away and it's then we know that Ursula has won.

5. "Be Prepared" by Scar

Be prepared is a song where Scar sings about his plans to kill Mufasa and Simba, not only that but Scar is belittling the hyenas by calling them dumb; "I can tell by your vacant expression." Then the hyenas assume that there will be no king, but Scar of course has other plans. Near the middle of the song, we see scar's army being formed. Then he convinces the hyenas that they will get nowhere without him.

6. "Mine" by Governor Ratcliffe

Jealous of the Spanish, he too wants to find gold and be rich for himself. He makes the settlers dig for gold as he is terrorizing the land of the aboriginals by tearing apart the land and ripping out trees as he goes. Then we see the motivation for John Smith as he is discovering the "new world." John Smith is in love with the land itself as Ratcliffe is destroying it.

7. "Oogie Boogie Song" by Oogie Boogie

This is probably the most terrifying song to recognize as a villain song because he is torturing Santa Clause and for a child that can be unbearable. Not only that, but he is mocking a child's favorite belief during the entire song. The song itself though is catchy with the jazz effect, but when watching, Oogie Boogie is filled with bugs and showing his insides. Gross. We don't need to see it.

8. "Savages"

This is probably the most realistic villain song. Governor Ratcliffe and the Chief are filled with racist hate, which still exists in our society. The aboriginals or "Indians" are then preparing for battle as well, simply because of the color of skin. Both the sides are readying for battle to go to war. Pocahontas then realizes what is going to happen and she saves John's life and many more lives by showing up to the scene and speaking up about what is right.

9. "Gaston's Song" by LeFou

LeFou brings up Gaston's spirits by singing about his greatness. This is probably the villain that characters actually like in the movie, Gaston is the most liked in the town, which adds to his danger because everyone believes him rather than Belle. However, this also ties in with the "Mob Song" when he sings about the killing the beast. He convinces the whole town the beast is going to kill everyone in the town. The town then goes off to kill the beast because of Gaston's persuasive talents.

10. "Cruella De Vil"

"Cruella De Vil," is one of the most unique villain songs because the villain herself does not sing the song, but Roger does. We see the foreshadowing in the movie with the song. Roger than makes a hit song in her name, which leads them to their success and move to a larger place. So thank-you Cruella for getting the main characters famous!

11. "Mother Knows Best" by Gothel

Gothel convinces Rapunzel that she is too young and stupid to leave the tower. Then when she sings "To Keep You Safe," notice how she's touching the Rapunzel's hair as she sings that...yeah...foreshadowing! The song is fun and uplifting, but when the words come to play she mentions all the scary things outside of the tower. Then she says, "Don't ever ask to leave this tower again," with a dark voice and leaves Rapunzel to her own devices once more.
