Have you ever wondered if there are teeth swimming around your feet and legs below the water? Maybe there is something darker staring up at you that you can not see. Something that is just waiting for the right opportunity to reach up and pull you down. Maybe there are cities full of unknown beings or creatures right below the spot where you are floating.

The movies that I am about to begin mentioning are all about exactly that. If the questions above have ever crossed your mind at any point of time, then these movies will definitely send your mind into shock. If you fear not the water, but what hides underneath it, then I would not ever suggest watching these moves.

This list is going to start off with a very popular movie. This movie's name is Jaws and it is about a very hungry and angry shark. While this is one of the movies that I like to watch because it is definitely worth watching for someone who does not fear what is hiding in the water in the movies. This movie will give a very good scare to just the right audience.

Next up is another two oldies movies called Sphere and The Abyss. While some people like me would find it fascinating to see another type of being beneath the water others may not find this the same. Giant squid surrounding the ship or mysteries occurrences coming out of nowhere may not be on everybody's top list.

Up next is the movie Below placed on a submarine below the water. Strange things begin to happen and people begin coming to a very early end in this movie. Imagine a record player turning itself on to play really loud music. Shadows coming closer with whispering voices. This is a movie that will give you goosebumps while watching it.

Piranha and Lake Placid are both being named next because both have similar frights as Jaws. Most people have heard about what Piranha are like in real life but not everyone has had the opportunity or wants the opportunity to actually see what damage they could do. The other creature is bigger and has the ability to cause a larger bite.

Three movies that I am going to suggest now involve very large creatures that also like the water. One of those movies is In The Heart of the Sea; that has a very large whale looking creature that could easily swallow an entire boat or maybe even a ship. Moby Dick is next in line because it is like the movie The Heart of the Sea. The only difference is that one is a little scarier than the other.

Anaconda is next on the list but, this movie like the other has more than one fear to it. First, this is a very large snake that is not looking to make friends. If you are on a boat that is in the water, then you are in its territory. To be honest you do not necessarily have to be in the water or on a boat in the water to be in its territory. This beast is looking for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and is not extremely picky as to who it is going to be.

Deep Blue Sea and Red Water are two more shark movies that take place in the water. They are very hungry and plan on having a good size meal. The movies listed in this article are only a few of the creepy things that may lurk beneath the water in waiting. The movies listed above would honestly increase the fear of anyone who already gets freaked out about what may hide underneath the mysterious darkened water.
