Underrated Shows (Part 2)

This Is a Continuation of My First Post With Even More Shows

These are even more shows that I love that I think other people would like as well. Not all of them are Netflix shows like my previous post.

1. 'Gal Pals'

Gal Pals is a web series hosted on Youtube about the lives of queer women. Bea gets a crush on a straight girl and drama and comedy ensue. The second season just started two weeks ago and I highly recommend catching up. It's worth it.

2. 'Legion'

Legion is a show on FX about David Haller and his strange life. It's based on the comic book character of the same name. David Haller grew up hearing voices and having strange powers. He's put into a mental facility because of the voices. It's shot really well and has so much artistic value to it. It's hard to put into words exactly what makes this show so good. Even the music in the show is really well done and enjoyable to listen to on its own. You can catch up on Hulu. The second season isn't on there yet though. Hopefully, it will be on soon.

3. 'Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency'

Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency is a weird show that isn't for everyone and it knows that. Perhaps that is why it got such a short life. The show is about a weird detective and his reluctant sidekick. They go on weird and wacky adventures together while also being chased by a secret agency and a holistic assassin. It's weird and wonderful. It has two seasons so it's easy to watch it all. Sadly there is no season three, so if you watch it then be prepared for no closure. Don't let that stop you from watching it though. It's really good. I wish there was a season three. You can watch it on Hulu.

4. '3%'

3% is a Brazilian futuristic drama hosted on Netflix. It's set in the future where when you turn 21 you go through a competition to be a part of the 3% that go to a luxurious island away from poverty. There are a lot of interesting characters in it and it's just a really intense and enjoyable series. I haven't watched season two yet so I have to get on that. I recommend it to people who like stuff like The Hunger Gam.es. But it's definitely more adult than that.

5. 'Preacher'

Preacher is an interesting show about a preacher that gains special powers. You see his journey in trying to help his town while also dealing with his past. Season three just started but I haven't caught up yet. It's very graphic, violence-wise. So if you have an aversion to gore and things then I don't recommend this to you. Otherwise, it's an enjoyable show. I usually watch it casually. It's on Hulu.

6. 'Mindhunter'

Mindhunter is a show about forensic psychology in the 70's and how that division was conceived. It talks about famous serial killers and the ways of dealing with them from a psychological standpoint. It stars Jonathan Groff who is known for the musical Spring Awakening and the musical Hamilton. It's very fascinating if you like forensics and the study of crime. It's on Netflix and only has one season so far but the second season should be out soon.

This is all I have so far. I haven't watched a lot of shows recently but I will try some new ones and if they're any good I'll make a part 3. I'll also try to find some more web series as well. There are a few that I didn't add because I haven't seen enough of it. Some of these may be popular but I haven't seen much buzz about a lot of these shows. I hope you enjoyed this list and enjoy the shows.
