"Veronica Mars" Reunion for a Cause: New Show Financed!
Executive Producer and host Levar Burton started the campaign himself to bring the old show back to the internet.
The cast of Veronica Mars had a reunion this past weekend, with Percy Daggs, Jason Dohring, Enrico Colantoni and Queen Marshmallow herself, Kristen Bell, all reuniting and reading stories as a reward for people who donated to the Reading Rainbow Kick-starter Campaign.
Executive Producer and host Levar Burton started the campaign himself to bring the old show back to the internet. The campaign ended up earning 5.4 million dollars, 4.4 million over the intended goal.
The cast appeared at this event as a reward for those that donated $750, forth and had around 122 attendees. The event also included a Q&A, snacks, and Kristen singing her famous "Do You Wanna Build a Snowman," for which I am sure the parents were grateful e ride home.
The event must have held special meaning for the Veronica Mars cast, as their own movie was financed thanks to backers in their own Kick starter campaign, so that the Veronica Mars movie could be made, which was released in 2014.
It was clearly a fun time for all, and it's good to see the cast are still friendly after all these years.
