Even if you've only played a hot minute of #DarkSouls you know that there's a move that comes in handy in a pinch. If timed right, this move can save your life and can even put you in a position to strike a decisive blow if you're good enough. What I'm talking about, of course, is the all mighty roll. Getting those invincibility frames in at the right time can mean the difference between a mighty victory and screaming into the sun.

It's probably with that safety in mind that cosplayer and Youtuber, D-Piddy, decided to showcase some great cosplay at Sabonten Con 2017 while rolling. It's that or because it'd be hilarious. I'm ok with either reason.

Praise the Sun!

A lot of videos featuring cosplay crop up after conventions but D-Piddy has always has an interesting take on it. His videos in general tend to be pretty wild to begin with. The fact that he just rolls around Saboten probably didn't come as a surprise to his fans. I'd dare say it was probably expected given that he was dressed as a #DarkSouls character. Not just any character, of course. He chose Solaire of Astora as his cosplay of choice.

Now that I stop to think about it, the video may have been a toss up between rolling or just praising the sun. Either way, I'm glad he went with rolling.

Check out the video below.

I'll level with you. I haven't played a lick of Dark Souls. My only knowledge of it is primarily through memes and seeing my friends froth with a rage that I've never seen. Doesn't mean I can't appreciate a good forward roll though.
